I came to drop off my return package on 8/7/24 at 4:08 pm. The girl who helped me was quite rude. Her name is Giselle.
When I told her I had a return, she pointed to the scan machine, but I had no idea what she meant because I haven't made a return in so long and didn't know the system had changed. When I approached the machine, I didn't know what to do next. She just said, 'Scan it,' and I couldn't see where to scan at first. She then pointed to the 'Scan here' sticker with an attitude that made me feel really dumb.
She then told me to come to her desk for her to scan it, and she really had an attitude and showed that she didn't really want to help. I have never had this experience before with any of the FedEx assistants. They have always been nice to me and made the instructions very clear every time I come in for service.
I was about to let it go and leave but then decided to come back in for a receipt, and I saw her helping other customers with a different attitude. Did I just experience racism because I'm Asian?
Update: I read through all the reviews at this location, and there are many comments and bad reviews about their customer service. It seems like it wasn't just me who experienced this!

Horrible customer service experience. The vibes are so dark in there and the woman working there was staring at me and my family from the moment we walked in without saying anything just giving us dirty looks. We ended up leaving because it was so uncomfortable. Will be going somewhere else. Do not bother stepping foot in here, especially if you’re a person of color.

Ave refused to take a pre purchased label exactly like every other package before. Would not up sell products to accept the order just refused any support, or way to get the order completed waste of a $70 label
Update: went to different store associate was great and accepted the packaged with some helpful tips on the next order wouldn’t accept a t cash tip the guy was a rockstar!

Horrible customer service, I believe I had a man named Ken and was extremely rude. I had 2 packages that were supposed to be sent to that office and had a message that said both had been delivered to that location although Ken could only find one and did not help me figure out where the other package was he just told me to call customer service.

3/13/24 @ 12:25 pm Manager Mike wouldn't print my order. Told me I have to wait until I get notified that it's ready. Previously I have placed online print order, went to location and they just printed it then. This guy was a jerk. Told me I could wait in the location until I get notification at 3pm. I was there and needed it now. I told him to cancel my order.Update: 2pm they call to let me know order was ready. Wth. This manager doesn't know how to to his job.

Went up to the desk to drop off a package with a pre-printed label. Employee made it clear that I could've used the kiosk instead. Sorry to have caused him 10 seconds of work scanning my package and printing my receipt. Maybe have clear signage directing customers like me, who never go to FedEx, to the kiosk. Unfriendly service but at least it was fast.

The refuse to ship if you don't repack at an exorbitant fee. Total scam. Went across the street to UPS and they were great. No issues.
