I was extremely impressed with the service I received from Family Air from the beginning. Kurt was amazing. He was quick to come out and evaluate the replacement of our 2 HVAC systems and provide a very reasonable estimate. He was always very prompt in responding to my various questions either by email or a phone call to make sure I understood everything I needed to make an informed decision. Once I made the decision to accept their proposal, he made a special appointment to come out in advance of the installation and add some additional recycled R-22 to both my existing systems at no additional cost to make sure these “dying” systems operated sufficiently cool to withstand the extreme heat and keep us cool until the new system installations were complete. This was beyond what I could have ever expected!
The day of the installation, 2 experienced crews showed up exactly as scheduled. Greg, Frank, the Omar’s (father and son) worked quickly and efficiently and had both systems up and running by noon the same day. The entire work site was left clean with no follow up issues. Kurt returned promptly the next day to check on everything and make sure we were completely

Air Conditioner decided to stop working late on Saturday afternoon. I called Family Air and there was a service tech at my house the following morning. Everything was fixed and working great, and the cost was lower than I expected for a Sunday call! Great service.

I, just had an evaporative cooler stalled by Family Air. Arrived in time . Employees arrive got to work with all needed supplies and cooler was up, connection made, water lines replaced has needed very professional.
They all walked on my brand new roof quietly no big foot stoppers, banging etc. Cooler works great keeping us very comfortable
I highly recommend this company for all cooler needs.

I was able to get an appointment right away. They sent out Gerardo and he was amazing. He was able to diagnose the problems I was having and fixed them all at the same visit. And the price was really reasonable. I was really happy with the service!

First of all, Ruben is my hero. House is cooling instantly. I appreciate the options for repair they provided. The other quotes we got were just to replace the entire system. Family Air provided a super competitive quote for replacement, but also gave a quote for repair with realistic expectations. We have used Family Air exclusively for the 20 years we have lived in Tucson for two different houses. They screwed up a heater repair once causing damage to some flooring, but they fixed everything and made it right with no questions asked. The owner supervised the repair work. The only reason I hesitate to rate them a five is that over the years the customer service has slipped. It is almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone or return calls. Email isn’t a lot better. If they can reinvigorate the customer service this would be a perfect company.

When you live in AZ, having a good HVAC company to count on is invaluable. Today I found one! Our technician (Kris) came out and did a fairly straight-forward repair for us. It turned out to be a bad capacitor (which I hadn't suspected since another well known HVAC company installed a new capacitor for us under a year ago, but these things happen I suppose). The repair wasn't necessarily what set them apart for me (although no issues with the repair either). It was the service from Kris. Kris was extremely kind while I unintentionally watched over his shoulder and asked him questions (I didn't mean to watch over his shoulder, but we just got talking). He had great service, and most importantly was extremely honest. I would highly recommend Family Air and specifically Kris! Thank you!

2years ago we had another well advertised HVAC company out for an emergency call (105degrees, no HVAC) when that technician showed up, he and my husband up on the roof, he pointed out a valve was not operating properly, said he would call and get an estimate, while on the phone getting the estimate he discussed the part with his boss, suddenly he recommended a whole new unit, pulling brochures out of his tool box, said it would run about $12,000, when my husband asked if just the valve could be replaced since initially the tech said the unit was in good shape, he said well I could replace it but we can’t guarantee it will work and it will cost $1600, so we told him we would give them a call. The next day a coworker of my husband suggested we call Family Air, their tech came out, pointed out the same valve, called to see if it were available, explained to my husband why it was sticking, he got the valve unstuck, and said that may or may not work, but it would get us through the rest of the hot season, and recommended it be replaced in the cooler months, gave us an estimate of $1138, in early the next spring we called and had Family Air come back out to replace it, and it was exactly $1138, they are on time and fair priced, and show you what they are doing.
Forward 2 years to now, our system finally needed replacing, we called Family Air, they came out, measured everything, and explained our options.
Their prices are fair, they do not try to over sell to you.
Our new unit was installed last week, as before they were on time, efficient, and do a great job. I can honestly say, they are a great company!! Thanks Family Air!!!

We bought a new AC in November 2022. We felt that it was too humid in our house during August 2023. Rob came out a day or two after we called. Diagnosed the problem efficiently, explained the settings he adjusted and left with our house cooler and much less humid. Thank you Rob!

Our heat pump stopped putting out cool air in the middle of the night. We called at 8 AM when they opened. A technician was on site by 9:15 AM and had the part needed to promptly repair the unit. Thank you so much Michael Beard!! I hired Family Air three years ago for a furnace replacement. This company did and amazing job - we were 100% satisfied with Family Air's products and service. I recently decided to upgrade from swamp cooling to air conditioning and returned to Family Air based off my previous positive experience. I'm pleased to say my current experience was every bit as great if not better than 3 years ago. From the first meeting with the estimator the process was smooth and this team was fantastic to work with.
