After my first experience this is my official place for all of my clock and watch needs. I brought in a clock for an easy battery replacement which was short and inexpensive. My short time in the store was some of the most pleasant and friendly customer service experiences I have had recently. Ernest is extremely knowledgeable and his dad, who specifically helped me, was so nice. Please support this wonderful local business.

I love the service and atmosphere at Ernest and Ernest's shop. It is a fascinating place and I can't help spending a bit of extra time there learning about the nuances of vintage clock repair and history. And who else can find a new old stock main spring for a circa 1965 Ben Russell watch or the last crystal on the planet for a 1972 Seiko? Please keep it going guys!

Walking into Ernest Watch and Clock Service is like stepping through a portal into a medieval craftsman’s workshop, something out of Pinocchio or Princess Bride - timeless and enduring. Ernest (Senior) fixed my beloved ceramic fish clock within a single day and it now tick-tocks to perfection. Fast, kind, expert service, and at very reasonable cost. What more can one ask for?

Have been going to Ernest Watch and Clock Service for many years for watch batteries, band adjustment, or watch repairs. Never a problem. If they can’t fix it (some watches are like that) they won’t charge for any work they did. Would go nowhere else. Knowledgeable and honest folks!

I've been fighting an uphill battle getting a steel band repaired on my movado museum for over 5 years. for the last 3 it was sitting at another watch repair shop, I finally picked it up from that place and made it my mission today to get it fixed (while I waited) or give up completely. while Ernest sr. was replacing batteries in a regulars watch collection Ernest jr. came up with an ingenious way to repair my band once and for all! now I know why the regular customer was singing their praises, I was out of there in less than an hour and for a lot less than what I would have expected to pay and what other shops might have charged (if they could've figured it out). the shop was easy to find ( plus theres a big clock on the front of the place) looking through their store it looks like they can fix and do anything, and I can vouch for their prices. try Ernests' for sure, you won't regret it!

We moved to Vail from Maryland 5 years ago. Ernest Watch and Clock cleaned and serviced our grandfather clock. 5 years later it is still keeping perfect time
