The store has undergone a complete remodel, and customers are now trusted with shopping carts without the need for a broom handle. While the immediate area seems to be in decline, the parking lot can be problematic at times, the store itself is generally clean and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and professional, even when dealing with difficult customers, and they deserve credit for their handling of such situations. Customers have been pleasantly surprised by the organization and brand selection at this Dollar General, finding it to be cleaner and more well-stocked than some other discount stores. Prices are generally good, though some items may be closer to regular retail. Overall, this Dollar General location is a solid option for those in need of everyday essentials, with a convenient location and a helpful, professional staff.
