I am a certified pet groomer in Tucson. I hear a lot of things about the vets in this city and Dr. Samuel's and his staff are the best! I refur my clients and take my own pets to them. Their prices are reasonable and he has never pushed unnessacery services. Thank you for all you do!

I've been coming to Central Animal Hospital for over a decade at this point, and I cannot recommend them enough. Both Dr. Samuels and Dr. Miller are kind, caring, and know their stuff. They won't suggest running tests or getting extra stuff done just because. They both take the time to listen to you and see what's going on with your animal. The whole team there is absolutely amazing. They really treat your pet like family.

My recently rescued terrier mix had terrible breath. Dr. Miller cleaned dogs teeth and removed 10. She and her staff are efficient, nice and professional. I recommend this animal hospital.

I'd urge all owners to not bring your animals here. I had been bringing my dog to Central Animal for many years and I always trusted Dr Samuels with any concerns that I had in regards to my dog, back in October I voiced my concerns about something that I was feeling in her abdomen he told me that he didn't feel anything she was scheduled to have surgery the following week so he told me he would push on her stomach and see if he could feel anything while she was under anesthesia after surgery nothing was mentioned so I asked him if he felt her stomach and he again said he didn't feel anything so therefore he thought that I was feeling just a normal part of her stomach, fast forward a few months later I brought her back because it was getting bigger and again he brushed It off by saying as he walked into the room "you're starting to see symptoms of an old dog" but this time I was not going to leave without x-rays being done and it was at that time we found a tumor on her spleen and unfortunately the cancer had already spread to her chest, The guilt and the anger that I am going to harbor for the rest of my life I can't even put into words.I would also like to mention that the vet tech that was working that day she body slammed my dog when I was talking to her about feeling something in my dog's stomach but she had to be laying a certain way so she grabbed my dog and body slammed her to the ground. I am absolutely disgusted in this vet's office and I wish I could go back in time. I will never forgive myself for trusting Dr Samuels because I feel like I failed the love of my life.

We have been going to Central Animal Hospital over five years. The staff are friendly and genuinely caring of your dog (or cat, if that's your thing ). Dr. Samuels is great. He takes his time and explains everything thoroughly. Additionally, he is not out to sell you anything that isn't absolutely necessary. Highly recommend

Was about one of the only vet clinics I found that was accepting new patients. It's very obvious my rescue was never socialized, and most likely mistreated &/or abused, & is very difficult to handle, but Dr Samuels and Technicians are wonderful with him. I feel very fortunate.

High praise for this super clean, friendly office. I've got a 10 year old cat and hadn't found a vet .... During Covid I went to another in town and we could pass the cat carrier to someone in the parking lot. So I looked for another. dr Judy Miller spend time with me and my cat. She has a fast growing tumor and it's cancer. Her sensitivity, options and information made a sad day easier. I will be sticking with this vet till the end.

Brought my 4-year-old 4.5lb Papillion to Central Animal Hospital for an initial examination, and to ask about cleaning her teeth and getting spayed. Dr. Miller examined her teeth and explained that there are risks of anesthesia. Further, that spaying her would be risky to her spine/nerves while not helpful this late in her life. She provided a postcard for a physical therapy business but added "there isn't much they can do now, because you waited 3-years" to get her treated. Wait, what? Central Animal Hospital was able to pull Lexi's prior medical records from another vet's office for an exam conducted while she belonged to her former owner. But why did she say to me, "there isn't much that can be done for Lexi because you waited 3-years to get her treated" multiple times. It's untrue and presumptuous. Lexi had been given to me three years ago. Former owner said that her back legs stopped working after kids tossed her around on a trampoline. Days after adopting Lexi, I took her to see a veterinarian for spay surgery, but due to Lexi's condition it wasn't possible. She was incontinent, her back leg muscles had already atrophied and weren't responsive to touch. The doctor concluded she may be paralyzed. We later met a chiropractor who provided adjustments and encouraged exercise. Turns out, Lexi is not paralyzed and is re-developing those back leg muscles. I didn't wait 3 years for care. With Lexi's improved condition, I wanted to inquire about getting spayed and her teeth cleaned. Dr. Miller had not examined Lexi's spine, legs, or ability to walk, and had no actual frame of reference, so, what did she mean by it's too late? This didn't help Lexi at all, and insinuated that I had not taken good care of my dog. So what about the teeth cleaning? The front desk tech said "the doctor didn't mention it" and went to ask ... returned saying, "oh, she'd have to put together a quote." Whatever that means.
