You can really see a lot of interesting things if you go during the right times. Especially the Ansel Adams exhibits

I recently visited the University of Arizona art center to look at the Linda McCarthy Retrospective. There were many different exhibits about different artists as well as postcards and books to purchase! It was beneficial to be in a building that encouraged creativity and crafts. They also had a smart policy about keeping bags out of the exhibits and provided lockers to keep them safe in the lobby

This small gallery hand some amazing exhibitions and is a quiet place to reflect on the work. The most recent one, Linda McCartney's work, is very thought provoking and beautiful. It took me about an hour to completely go through but you could spend longer there as they had other works of hers. The employees, I'm assuming students, were very polite and friendly.Lockers are available to use especially if you bring anything larger than a coin purse or water bottle.

Caught the Linda McCartney retrospective exhibit there recently. It was fantastic and I cannot believe absolutely free. I would’ve easily been willing to pay 15 or $20 admission to such a great show. I am going to make it a habit to attend more exhibits there now that I am comfortable where it’s located, and understand what a great job they do. Highly recommended.

The exhibits are lovely but unfortunately the handicap parking situation is a nightmare. A word to the wise: if you have any trouble walking, or are in a wheelchair, do NOT visit here without trying to get a handicap pass. Even though there were handicap spaces within almost feet of the front door we were not allowed to park there (on a Tuesday morning in late June) because we had not CALLED AHEAD to get a specific pass. Parking is at least 4-5 blocks away in a garage and then you have to walk back to the building. Thus my reason for only three stars.

This place is a special little place. I loved learning about Linda McCartney and other photographers that developed cool techniques before we had Photoshop or Lightroom. True artists, makes me want to go back to the darkroom and play around. The whole thing took about 30 mins to go through, it’s small but has lots of meaningful info. I’d go back for sure. They sell great books out front too.

We popped in on a Saturday afternoon to view the Linda McCartney exhibit (of course). Parking was free across the street, and it was easy to find the building. The exhibit was free as well, and I loved that they had a free locker for my bag. Three frees just to start! The exhibit itself was beyond my expectations. They curated a wide variety of images that offered a little something for eveyone -- McCartney family photos, famous people, and other subjects all seen through Linda's eye. I heard a docent say this barely scratches the surface of what they have in the archives from her, so I hope this is the first of many exhibits of her work!

Great exhibit! I was really surprised at the depth and range of the collection of Linda McCartney’s photographs. It felt personal and historical. It was cool to see photos of her and the family when they lived in Tucson. The museum is free and worth checking out.

Good place to study as long as they don't have a video with music on loop. (They did for awhile and I can still hear it) Staff are kind and bathrooms are never busy.

We went during the Airitam and “trees sitting in their leaves” exhibits.Very well curated and lovely spaces. Looks like there could be a lot more on display so maybe summer slowness or refurbing happening.Either way was a great space to explore the two concepts.I do recommend

Oh my gosh, the portrait photography by Alana Aritam is stunning! Had seen her interviewed on Arizona Illustrated, never knew she had an exhibit here or that she's now living in Tucson. This was a surprise and so glad I just happened to come with my friend and saw this. Not to be missed!
