my dog wasn’t able to walk so we brought her in for her legs, they were kind with her but then drugged her up she declined immediately after we left the vet. She passed away 5 days after the appointment. They had me give her 4 different prescriptions but yet didn’t even know what was wrong with her 100%. I feel the drugs along with injection and patch was too much and made her worse. she was so bad after she left and now i have to deal with the guilt of taking her here when she probably would’ve been better going somewhere else, not only that she wasn’t even that bad when we brought her there compared to after she got back home, on top of spending $1800 & $200-300 for meds. she would’ve been fine if we didn’t take her here, i just feel the vets her have less experience and knowledge then others and they dosed her up and drugged her up so bad… she wasnt even the way she was when she left them, so save your fur babies and take them somewhere where a vet/ company cares and has better knowledge and experience. Now due to the circumstances i lost my dog and money so thanks for helping?!?!??!

I cant say enough wonderful things about Dr Collins and the staff at Briarcrest. My dog can be a little anxious , but they put her at ease, you can tell they truly care about our pets.
I would highly recommend Briarcrest for your loved fur babies.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Collins and her staff. Everyone was very nice from receptionist, to vet tech, to vet. Did a thorough exam of our Chloe, recommended options and followed through. Looking forward to working with Dr. Collins to get our girl better.

I have worked with several of the veterinarians at Briarcrest for my dog and two cats, and they have all been absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this office!

Seems technologically competent, however, Judgemental and mean. After many great relationships with other local Veterinarians, I would never recommend this practice

Absolutely the best, most compassionate Veterinary clinic anywhere. I already had one dog there for routine dental care when my dog Rigby had a medical emergency. They met me at the door, took him in and gave him great care even though it threw off their schedule. Thanks, Dr. Collins and all the fantastic vet techs who helped out.

We are not existing clients, but I called yesterday to see if they could fit us in soon for nail clipping. I warned them our dog is extremely fearful and sensitive, and might require sedation. They asked if I could come today. I also warned them our dog can be fear aggressive with other dogs and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. Everything went great!!! It was unbelievable. They didn’t need to use sedation. They also recommended options for treatment of some occasional pain issues and let me choose what best fit our wallet and lifestyle. It’s our first truly positive experience with a vet with this particular dog. We will be back!

I adopted a dog whose previous owner took him to Briarcrest. I have continued to use them even though it takes me over an hour to get there. My dog's Vet (Collins) and her vet tech are both terrific, personable, and not prone to rushing you in and out. They both took time to answer a number of questions I had about caring for, and training, a middle-aged adopted pooch. There are some logistical inconveniences for me, but i have great confidence in the staff and will continue to take my dog there.

My dog caught valley fever (fungal infection caused by fungus in the Coccidioides genus), which is common in the desert southwest USA, and especially seems to impact dogs that move here from other parts of the country. The staff at Briarcrest have been diligent in following up about my dog's treatment, and under their care my dog has recovered while tapering off antifungal medication. I really can't recommend them highly enough. My dog hates going to the vet, but they are able to troubleshoot and offer interventions that make it feasible to give my dog the veterinary care she needs. I really appreciate Briarcrest Vet Care Center and would recommend them to anyone in the areaIf you're new to Tucson I would recommend visiting them to learn about the symptoms of valley fever so you know what to look out for

I was in desperate need of seeing a vet for my basset hound, Ben. I was able to get an appointment immediately and was treated very well. The facility is immaculate with easy parking and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I loved the doctor’s energy and care given to Ben. I’m very pleased!!

CAUTION: Money hungry Vets with NASTY front desk "BARB". Many years with many pets until long expensive road to solving dogs inability to eliminate urine was the LAST STRAW. Multiple ER visits($$) , as this vet wanted to make more money instead of helping my suffering pet. Disgusting priority....be very careful, and find an honest , caring practice with friendly front desk personnel. There are wonderful Vets out there. Your "babies " deserve better.

Hands down the best experience I have had walking into a new vet for a technical procedure. The vet took her time reading the full file on my dog and caught something no one else caught. I would highly recommend this place!
