Benko Fitness Center is a nice, clean, and newer fitness facility with an indoor pool. The gym offers great workout equipment, clean restrooms, and excellent service and entertainment. However, the hours listed online are often inaccurative, and during certain evening and holiday hours, only active-duty personnel can access the gym. The building requires significant repairs, from the roof to the shower stalls, but the indoor and outdoor tracks are impressive. The fitness pool is a nice area for swimming laps, with available fitness supplies and a lifeguard on duty. While the pool is not suitable for leisure activities, it provides a refreshing and enjoyable fitness experience. Overall, the Benko Fitness Center caters more to cardio and general fitness activities rather than heavy lifting, which is better suited for the Hefner gym.
