I had just got off work to replace a bad car battery for my work vehicle, I was referred to the autozone there on Grant & Richey by another store. This autozone store had thee most terrible customer service, I was very displeased felt a little discriminated by one of the employees. It was about 4:30pm when I arrived and right away I am waiting for someone to assist me, the employee a young man with short blonde-ish hair I was waiting for was on the phone and when he hung up he completely ignored me. I was waiting for about a minute until the another employee finally noticed I was the one waiting. It was confirmed the new battery I wanted was in stock so I went out to the parking lot to exchange my old battery, mind you it was 107 degrees out also the heat from the vehicles engine was overwhelming let alone difficult to remove the battery for the vehicle with the design of how the coolant hose and fuse box were in the way. I managed to remove the old battery and exchange for core charge while purchasing the new battery. The employee that assisted me threw in a kit with my new battery that I did not ask for. I just wanted to get out of that store as quick as possible as it was beginning to make me more annoyed. I go out to install my new battery, it was more difficult putting it back in than it was removing it. After struggling to place the battery in the correct position I stop to take a break from the heat and I look towards the entrance of the store within that same moment the young guy with the short blonde hair comes out and looks at me with the most disrespectful look as if he was offended by me. I never felt so uncomfortable and unsatisfied coming to a auto part store. Anywhere else I’ve had the most outstanding experience except for the autozone on Grant & Richey.

Chase was incredibly helpful! Went above and beyond to resolve my issue
Update. So it turns out it wasn't even my battery. It was the alternator, which I only found out after experiencing total power failure of my vehicle on the road 3 days later. An alternator I purchased from AutoZone only 5 months ago. Upon returning to the store was informed Chase was fired, and greeted to tones of annoyance from store manager. When I returned to claim the warranty on faulty alternator, another manager was training a new hire on the systems, which is fine, except that involved not speaking to me. Really unhappy to have spent over 500 dollars in a new battery and labor for installing a new alternator, simply because AutoZone sold me a faulty part. Will never be returning to AutoZone whatsoever.

Amazing experience here from Mr Van Dyke! I think you are very lucky to have him as an employee. So helpful and attentive, was beyond anything I expected.

I always have a great experience at this Auto Zone but wanted to give a heads-up about their employee who helped me a couple of days ago. Shawn was friendly and so knowledgeable and I left feeling like if more places had someone like him; what a pleasure shopping would be. What an asset to your store!!!

Duramax wouldn't turn this morning, so we pulled both batteries and headed to the nearest AutoZone. Chase was very honest, helpful, and friendly when the batteries turned out to just need a charge. I have always had a great experience at this location with my little car and now my husband's beast truck. Thank you to Chase this morning.

I was skeptical my in store experience was not going to be well after a phone calling had, before I arrived at the store. The gentleman was not very pleasant. He had red hair and was very short, no smile and asked questions that I didn't feel were logical.
I returned an item and I also need to get my car battery charged. I was asked was the item broken?
I am not sure how beneficial it would be to the store or me, to return a BROKEN ITEM.
The device drained my car of it's power and my battery was new.
This was an uncomfortable visit.

My check engine light came on and I saw that Auto Zone offers to lend you a scan tool with analysis. This experience was fantastic, as I did not have to bring the truck into my mechanic and use a whole day doing so, especially for a gas cap issue :). Tabor helped me not only to do this, but gave me some OBD port advice. I love ths shop!

I just have to say that I have never been treated so well and professionally by any employer. Today James gave me a lot of information and helped by checking my fluids. Already, driving down the road I feel like I have been blessed because even just topping off my power steering fluid I am driving a lot more soundly. Thank you James for your help And an invitation to come back with any questions and concerns. That is a True professional!! God Bless,Update just commenting on another visit today. Professional employee Damian fitted and sold me a windshield wiper that I really really needed ASAP. But I could wait for some to come in the mail but today I just was not driving safely with blurry vision. Thank you so much Damian for your assistance and allowing me to drive away with much confidence. Your parents should be very proud of you and your store the way you handle your customers.

Stay away this location it has been getting worst for months. Had brake lights go out couldn't find the fuse because I am in a wheelchair the clerk told me it doesn't have a fuse it has to be bulb or switch on pedal. I asked him to look up location of fuse block anyway he said the computers can't do that. I am crippled not stupid either he is stupid or just lazy but went across the street to O'Reilly guy came out opened fuse box put new fuse in and wouldn't charge me. Why not just say I don't know or I don't want to help you instead of lying. Store at 3605 E. Grant Rd. Was on Thursday 12/28/23 before noon but problems have been on going with no help always only part available is the highest priced one and just ridiculous answer to questions and slow lazy employees go across the street half a block to O'Reilly.
