OK this place has good inventory and their prices are reasonable. What they don’t have is customer service. Absolutely horrendous customer service. So I made an order for materials that included some cuts and they were supposed to call me when it was done a day later when I hadn’t heard from them I called them to see what was going on and they said oh yeah we were going to call you. It’s ready to be picked up so I came in the next day. (Today). I don’t think anybody here is lying. I think this place is completely disorganized, Nobody knows what anybody else is doing, and when I went to the people at the front desk to let them know my displeasure their response was basically that this is business as usual.Absolutely positively stupid If you can’t do what you say you are going to do how do you ever hope to stay in businessI have absolutely no idea why they asked for a day to make the order when they had no intention of filling the order until I showed up two days later. What was the point? I could’ve just waited on the first day and I would not have had to come back here.

OK guys, after looking at some of these other absurd reviews, I realize I need to set the record straight: I am a professional metal worker with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture. I have been in business in Tucson for 20 years now. This is my favorite place to buy steel! Much better prices than IMS, SRS, SWS and equivalent pricing to SPS. They stock all the pieces and shapes that I need except for exotics for, those you will have to use IMS. The staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. If you order over $800 worth, they will deliver at no extra charge. I have been doing business with these guys for many, many years and highly recommend! Not only steel, but they also carry welders, consumables, gases, gloves, clamps, etc.

Beware - after 230 pm you risk of paying, waiting in a long line trucks to be loaded and then at 330 being we are now closed despite the posted 4 pm close time - not cool. Another 60 min trip the next day, ugh.

They should change their hours instead of 4 pm and 12 on Saturday put the actual hours you guys don't sell 330 and 1130am Saturday and not even that I was at 1125 am and still refused to sell me. I wasted like 30 min of my time and money. What a trash of a company.
