I have a male Rottie puppy that needed some serious training. Unfortunately my husband became ill shortly after we got the puppy, and wasn't able to train him, and he is now too big and strong for me to do it on my own. Anthony did an amazing job training him, and now I have a 100 pound puppy that obeys me and is an absolute joy.Anthony is always available to give me pointers as needed. I highly recommend him.

Anthony’s knowledge and experience of working with dogs is amazing! He was able to very quickly teach me the correct way to handle my GSD, alleviating the dog’s anxiety and aggression!!! I am able to walk my dog on a leash without pulling, tugging or lunging at other dogs and humans, in addition, I can have visitors to my home again! We did board and train with Anthony for our Basset Hound puppy and had a wonderful experience. Not only did he train our dog but he trained us. He sent us updates and videos of his progress weekly. When we picked him up we knew basic commands such sit, stay, come and walking on a leash. I would highly recommend Anthony's K-9 services to anyone looking for training or help with their dog.

I can't recommend Anthony's dog training service enough! He did an absolutely amazing job working with our dog, Loki, who suffers from fear aggression. From the very beginning, Anthony was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and he clearly has a deep understanding of dog behavior and psychology.Throughout the entire training process, Anthony was patient, kind, and compassionate with Loki. He was able to help Loki manage his fear and anxiety, and he gave us the tools and strategies we needed to continue working with him at home. Thanks to Anthony's help, Loki is now a much happier and more confident dog.Overall, I would highly recommend Anthony's dog training service to anyone looking for an expert, compassionate trainer. He truly cares about the dogs he works with, and he goes above and beyond to ensure that both the dog and the owner have a positive and successful training experience. We have used Anthony for a number of different services for more than 10 years. Back in 2011, I enrolled Jack, our adopted pit-bull mix who was a double amputee, in one of Anthony’s 8-week basic obedience classes. There were about 8-10 dogs of various ages and temperaments but all were large “bully” breeds. Anthony was obviously knowledgeable and experienced and used his own dogs to demonstrate commands and expected behavioral responses. He provided clear explanations of the behaviors we were seeing in each dog—their vocalizations, body language, energy level, and interactions with both people and other dogs. He instructed us on not only what to do to change the behavior but why it worked. This resulted in both a well behaved dog as well as closer bond with Jack.About a year later, Jack was recovering from prosthetic implant surgery and needed daily wound care. When he transitioned from in-clinic care with sedation to at-home care without sedation, we were overwhelmed and fearful that the treatments might result in a reactive bite. Anthony came to our home, assessed the situation, and devised a plan based on Jack’s individual temperament and motivation. Anthony not only trained us how manage the situation but this strengthened the trust between us and Jack.More recently, we adopted a young pit-bull mix who had a number of issues we were struggling to deal with including some behavioral issues at home and at the dog park as well as reactivity when administering his monthly allergy injections. Again we reached out to Anthony who provided assessment at our home and at the dog park. He recommended a number of different strategies for the different situations and explained how and why each strategy worked for each specific issue. We saw immediate response and improvement. Anthony met us a number of times for follow-up and reinforcement and each time I became more confident in when and how I implemented each strategy. The changes we have observed are not limited to better behaviors but our “wild child” has become a more trusting, confident, loving family member.In each of our interactions with Anthony, he not only observes the issues but listens to our concerns, struggles and fears. He is extremely calm even when some behaviors are “over the top”. Combined with his knowledge and experience, Anthony’s demeanor instills trust and confidence in him.

Anthony worked with my reactive boy, who now sits nicely by my side when I stop to talk to people while walking him. Not only is my boy much better behaved, but Anthony is his favorite person in the world (after me…I think).

We sought Anthony’s help with our 3 year old Malinois/Husky/Shepherd. He is about 100 lbs of fluffiness and insecurity that becomes fear aggressiveness when he’s nervous. We recently had a baby and lots of new people were coming into the house and our dog was becoming more aggressive and we were very worried. Anthony was straightforward in his pricing and methods, which was helpful in choosing him to help us. He visited our home multiple time to advise and teach us hands-on how to help our dog deal with strangers and new situations. Our training (as the human part of the equation) was deceptively very simple, but there were great results we are still seeing 6 months later. It was like a switch was flipped in our dog’s brain. Everyone comments on his improved behavior when they visit. We can have people let him outside for us when we are away which we never could before. Whenever he starts to revert to his old ways we revisit our training methods and it helps. Anthony also helped us with our 3 year old cattle dog who was very dog reactive on the leash. This has been by far the best experience for my Bailee. Anthony is the most amazing trainer and the coolest person ever. He is very knowledgeable and always willing help when needed. My furry son has been so different since he came back from Anthony’s. I am very grateful beyond words that Bailee was given the opportunity to get trained by Anthony. I plan on using his services in the future. For anyone who is looking for training or boarding I highly recommend Anthony’s K-9 Service. Thank you Anthony!!!!!

I have a stubborn German Shorthaired Pointer rescue who had trouble being around other dogs. He went to Anthony’s boot camp and now he’s social around other dogs and behaves so well in public. I can take him into bookstores and he behaves so well. Money well spent.

We sent our very stubborn olde english bulldogge Maverick to Anthony for his fear based aggression. As we were just beginning to learn what we were dealing with, Anthony was very knowledgable and informative, helping us to understand Maverick and his issues. Not all dogs have the same needs and he took the time to learn Maverick and and work with him based on his specific problems. He was boarded and trained with Anthony and is home now. We couldn’t be happier with the progress he and we have made. Anthony not only trains the dogs but effectively gives the owners the valuable tools to continue and stays with them until they’re comfortable. He’s made my husband and I feel we’re all in this together and that was/is so important to is.

Anthony is a black belt in the world of dog training. I felt totally empowered with practical tools for training my 4-month old puppy after meeting with him for a private 1-on1 session. Highly recommend!

We cannot even begin to say enough good things about Anthony and his training! We did the board and train for our almost 3 year old German Shepherd and Anthony addressed all of our concerns! The help didn’t stop there either! Anthony has been coming to our home weekly to help us with applying the training in our home with the added distraction of our other dog. We have been able to apply his concepts and teachings to both of our dogs and it has been such a night and day difference in their behavior! We have been able to go from our dogs dragging us down the street on walks, only being able to walk our dogs at night due to their reactivity, and constantly having to wrestle them back at the door to being able to pleasantly walk with both dogs right beside us in the middle of the day past people, dogs, and other distractions.Anthony is now helping us work on place training and keeping our dogs from running at the door when guests come!His training and expertise is worth every single penny and we are so grateful to him and his help!

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Anthony. Two out of three of our dogs were reactive and I was finding it difficult to walk one of them and and impossible to walk the other, let alone together. Well, now I can successfully walk both dogs together without them reacting to other dogs, dragging me down the street or making the whole experience miserable. He takes the time to evaluate the situation, develop a plan, and helps you implement it. I loved that he came to our home so we could work in the "real world" of what was happening and not trying to solve our at-home problems in a different environment. I often recommend him to my neighbors that now talk about what well-behaved dogs I have!

12 years ago we took our 2 pit bulls to Anthony when they were puppies for training and socialization. They turned out to be the best dogs we have ever had! We now have a one year old Aussie who was developing some bad habits. After only a few sessions with Anthony his bad behavior has completely turned around and I am confident he will become a great dog just like our pits!
