Over the last couple of years, I have picked up many loads of rock, soil, compost, etc. All of the workers have been unfailingly courteous and helpful. The loaders have all been very careful when loading my pickup, for which I am very appreciative. I am very pleased with the service and product from Acme.

Bought their raised bed garden soil. It was nearly all sand and ruined 3 beds and an entire growing season. Guy on the phone said it was less than 50 percent sand. Don’t buy soil from these crooks.

The man that waited on me (6/24/23) had deplorable customer service skills. He was unpleasant, insulting & discourteous. I am a female who was not familiar with the process to order dirt. I do not recommend ACME Sand & Gravel.

Staff is less than what I would call friendly.. Decent selection & comparable prices to the other 3 gravel places in town. Going to pay the extra transportation cost for anther company that’s slightly further away to not deal with:**points at display** “Well it’s right there. Lovely folks and great prices! We got two beautiful kino blue boulders for a great price and everyone was super helpful and nice here. Kudos to Darby for delivering and placing them! I'd highly recommend this business :)

Terrible customer experience. Not everyone speaks the same “gravel” language and as I tried to do so, I was cut off continuously - from the beginning- with a condescending tone. I already knew some facts (Driveway gravel, 1/2” was $29 a yard at one place, was following up to confirm price there, but was never able to express my question). I was told “I wasn’t being clear.” You try to help the customer, not scold them. Bad omen, never going back.
