Shell is a large, crowded truck stop and fuel station. It has a huge parking lot for all vehicles with amenities for truckers including showers and a truck wash. The location offers multiple food options such as a Black Bear Diner, Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, and Subway. There is also a convenience store with a large selection of snacks, bottled beverages, auto necessities, and touristy knickknacks. The bathrooms are generally clean with multiple stalls, though they can occasionally have issues. The staff is considerate and provides fast service. It is recommended to arrive before dark. The facility also features a small, shaded dog park. Overall, it is a fine, busy stop where many would definitely stop again.
Very clean dog park. Fully enclosed. No shade as previously posted but there's a few benches to sit on, a couple of palm trees, plenty of grass, some dirt and gravel areas too. Dog baggies also provided. Overall, very nice.
