the cutest itty bitty lil shop ever !! Love coming here and looking through all the treasures whenever im in town. Honestly one of the greatest place to find affordable lil jewelry pieces and just and lil knick knack in general. I have gotten so many rings here that have never tarnished and got them for less than $10 !! Also love the owner and the others that work there ! 10/10 great lil find #sweetstakesentry

Really unique little store that has lots of unique treasures and so glad I stopped in today! After yoga class downstairs, I popped in to see what this place was about, and wow, this is a treasure trove of items from all over the world. Sweet! Clay, the owner, was super nice and we chatted the entire time I was looking around the store. He told me that this store has been here for 25 years and that he goes around the world looking for items and buys them up and then has them shipped back to here. Great! The reason the store is called Yucatecan Imports is when he first opened the store, he originally was bringing back hammocks from Yucatan, nice little history there! Each item in the store is marked with price and also where it comes from, so super cool! This is about as fair trade as it can be. Clay has hand painted scrolls from Thailand, Buddha calendars from Nepal, bookmarks from Turkey, earrings from Peru and Mexico, and my favorite, he has a chirango from Ecuador (however, the chirango was made in Bolivia)! I wanted to stay in here all day and look at everything he has as it is super neat all the wares he carries. He doesn't operate an online business, so he's old school, and wants you to come into his store, great! I ended up buying a mini wooden carved elephant from Thailand, this is a gift for my mom as she loves elephants (and so do I) and will send it to her! I'll definitely be back here especially when I have to find unique gift items for friends and family! Great little shop hidden away, come check it out!

I shopped Here in 2018 and I’ve been racking my brain to remember the name of the store. I had A photo of me in front of 4 one 4 pizza and pub so google earth led me to it l! So happy. Love all the necklaces and I want More!! I’m in Wilmington NC. Gonna order some things soon. Kate

As I walked along Mill Avenue in Tempe, a staff member gave me a coupon for a free gift at Yucatecan Imports. He pointed down a walkway and told me to visit the store. Ok having never visited I was game. Plus who does like a free gift? The store is located in a courtyard with a few other vendors. The store sells all things Central American and some Southeast Asian goods. I gave the store clerk my coupon and she directed me to a board and told me to choose one. The free gift was a woven friendship bracelet. Nice. Lots of woven bags in all sizes and shapes. Deity items and decor. Very colorful and small compact store. Street and lot parking. The courtyard was nice with benches to rest your feet.

i've been coming here for jewelry for years and 5 stars is not even enough. i love this place so much! i've taken all my friends and they've told their friends about it too, the owner is so cool and the jewelry he brings back from his travels are authentic from egypt, turkey and various places in the middle east. and it's located in such a cute spot too. once they gave me a tiny evil eye to keep my pocket for protection. i almost cried because it meant so much to me that they were looking out for me spiritually. you guys have my heart forever and ever and your necklaces are so beautiful and so reasonably priced for the handpicked selection they have. will always come back and tell more people about it!

Yucatecan Imports is like going to a world bazar where you can find art, crafts, and unusual items from all over the world. The name makes it sound like they only offer imports from Mexico or central America. I've purchased items from Asia, eastern 4Europe, and the middle east just to name a few regions. I always have fun shopping at this one-of-a-kind shop!

Family owned -great selection of leather and other bracelets and anklets and chokers or necklaces , cool clothes -great prices! The owner goes all over and selects / purchases the items he sells ...highly recommend the trip down to Mill for this place !

This place is incredible, full of fun and beautiful artifacts from around the world. You can find gifts, clothing, jewelry, bags, art and much more here. I highly recommend stopping by this location and checking out. Chelsey was amazing and helped us out a ton.

Its like traveling multiple continents. Friendly staff, welcoming.A lot of things to look at.Reminds me of my istanbul trip when i used to travel.I regret not buying souvenirs then, so this was a very pleasant travel back in time.Improvement suggestion: More ventilation and circular of air please.
