“We started coming here about 2 months ago and we have absolutely loved it since we started. This is now our Friday night date night. The new floors rock! The owners are great and create a really friendly environment. When the owner taught my brother in law how to belay he was very patient and informative.”

“We had a good brunch for Easter. The pancakes are eggless for vegetarians and they were very good. Everybody loved their choices. I'll go back and try the vegetarian nachos next time. Still good. Way too much food.”

“I love this cute retro boutique style hotel! They let you rent out bikes for free here, the area is awesome! There’s so much to do, hiking is easily accessible, the food options are amazing! Nick is the best! So accommodating! I absolutely love laying over at this hotel! My only wish is for better comforters for the beds ☺️”

“Shoutout to Ronnie, I checked in with him last December and today. He always provide exceptional hospitality to all the guests. He give you all the information you need to know about the hotel and I like how he walk out from the counter and hands you the room key. Real friendly and great customer service. Hospitable!”

“I was really impressed with this place. The food was pretty good as was the drinks. Didn't realize it becomes a club after 10 so will have to be back again for that experience. Overall a really good time and great ambiance it's a bit hard to talk as the music is pretty loud overall but it depends what sort of vibe you're looking for I would still say it's a great place.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews, but was really impressed with the quality of service at the front desk. Definitely didn’t expect to receive that caliber at what I thought was a limited service hotel from some reviews I saw. The manager Tom or Tim at the desk was exceptional. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking for a unique boutique with quality customer service.”

“Nice spacious room with all the basic amenities. Staff are quick and friendly to respond. Construction was no issue- no noise, no delays, no mess. However, no full length mirror, auto off lights got a little spooky/annoying and the a/c made crazy noise.Noteworthy details: Heated pool, gym with amenities, 24/7 snack bar and front desk”

“Some things are definitely getting dated but it appears that the facility is actively trying to upkeep things. Conference center and amenities are very nice. The pool is absolutely beautiful! The restaurant and food was very good. The room could have been a touch cleaner.”

“It was a pleasant experience I cannot complain my only slight issue is the pricing around Phoenix and hotels. The price is sky high............but none the less the room and service was excellent!!!!”

“Enjoyed my stay at the Aloft Tempe. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to highways, ASU, and nearby amenities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and well-appointed. Nice cozy lobby, bar, outdoor area, and pool. Convenience store has a wide variety of snacks, beverages, meals, and other essentials for purchase 24/7. There is a bit of noise from the neighboring highway and planes overhead, but it didn't bother me overnight and the hotel provides earplugs if you need them. The one minor disappointment during my stay was the non-functional electric vehicle charging station. All of the Tesla and non-Tesla EV chargers were in poor condition, with busted connectors and wires sticking out (safety hazard?). At least one of the Tesla chargers worked, but the only J1772 charger had a fault. I contacted the charging company listed on the station, who told me that the chargers are owned by the property and the hotel is responsible for arranging maintenance.”

“Rooms were kind of a let down from other Marriott hotels. Bathrooms need some updating. Caulk around tub had mold in it. Counter help is fantastic! Free breakfast was gross. Located across from a dispensary and there are some shady people walking around the sidewalks.”

“I think this is my new favorite location, at least for food. The arcade is... well, probably the weakest I've run into. Very biased toward the little kid games, no major titles like Space Invaders Frenzy, Centipede Chaos is there but the token to ticket ratio is pretty bad.The pizza and service though? Tops. As usual i was there for the buffet and this one had a real variety, some from requests and some from staff. Friendly folks serving up the most perfectly cooked pizzas. Crisp crust, perfectly melted cheese, chewy garlic bread, the works. If you know the flavors of Peter Piper that hasn't changed thanks to the very prescribed formula, but the end result still depends on good cooks making the dough and baking it up right. This place has them. If your trip is focused on a good arcade, there's better picks, but for food this may be the best in the Valley. East Valley, no doubt!Vegetarian options: It's pizza -if you don't add meat, it's vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: No nuts that I've ever noticed at Peter Piper”

“My wife and I had a great dinner out at Aunt Chiladas. The house margaritas were great, smooth going down and yet not too sweet. I had the three enchiladas with rice and refrito beans. A person could happily eat two pounds of these rice and beans, especially stirred together, but it is not recommended to eat that much beans at one sitting. The enchiladas had ample queso and flavorful meats but they were not so spicy your hair falls out. You can add seasoning to your taste if needed so it can be perfect for you. They had a lot going on that night and it was very busy but still the staff was always ready to help and wait time was good. It is wedding season and this would be a great venue for a grooms’ dinner with the spacious breezy patio and fine indoor dining room as well. Excellent in every measure. I understand you can have take out from this establishment too, but why miss the fun of the dining experience?”

“We had a great extended stay at Moxy over New Years! While I'm not new to Marriott, this was my first time staying at a Moxy, and I'm pleased to say that I would definitely consider this trendy hotel brand again. We checked in around 4 p.m. on a Friday, and immediately loved the fun and eclectic lobby and bar. There's plenty of space to spread out and work or play games, the latter of which we did a few times during our stay. There's a pool table, foozball table, old arcade games, tabletop chess and checkers ... you name it, and Moxy probably has it. Moxy has dubbed itself a "self-service" hotel, which means there's a common room on each floor that has extra pillows, towels, and toiletries for you to grab. You can also do your ironing there if you'd like - although our room did come equipped with a steamer (which I actually prefer over an iron). That said, you can still request housekeeping come and freshen up your room, which we did twice during our five night stay. The room itself was a nice size, with some unique decor and cool motion-detector LED lights beneath the bed. The bed was decently comfortable, although we did request an extra blanket on our first night. The shower was modern and updated, with both rain and detachable shower heads. While the water pressure left a lot to be desired, the hot water was abundant. The service throughout our stay was exemplary. We worked with Garreth and Keisha primarily, both of whom were extremely friendly and helpful. We even ended up in the lobby on New Year's Eve, and were treated to a champagne toast at midnight. We got our room at a good price given the time of year (ASU wasn't currently in session) - although it's worth noting that parking is $12 a night and that can add up on a longer stay. That said, you really can't beat the location of this hotel. With a CVS next door, and several hot spots in Tempe and Scottsdale just up the road, Moxy is a solid option for your next visit to AZ!”

“What's Great: + BYOB and BYOF (food) + Fun time, they pretty much leave you be What Needs Improvement: - Mostly Asian music, there were very few alternative 90's songs we were hoping to find All in all, the room decor's cute, the room's do get hot so ask them to turn up the AC, and it's fun in the end!”

“Super cool place. Great price for beer. They had slices of pizza, but they were so rock-hard. It was like eating cheese on the crunchiest pita chips I've ever eaten. My mouth was torn up after a couple bites. Can't recommend the pizza, but absolutely recommend the drinks!”
