I was a vender Oct 5, 2024 and I made back my $65 and i had promised the person who brought my things to the event, $10 for gas. So I made $75 and I'm not going back. Small businesses aren't supporting other small businesses. And then their are those who want to resell and give you nothing.
On the 5th it closed 2 hours early due to someone getting faint from the heat. They should have reimbursed the venders $10, as a sign of good faith. I'm not going back because i don't want to see people just walk by my items and not even look at them.

Thieves Market is an outdoor seasonal market that is open from October thru April. It is just too hot during the summer to be shopping outdoors

Lots of stuff, not many antiques, some collectables. Bit of a disappointment. Nicely organized. Lots of potential!

We are wintering in Mesa and decided to make the drive to Phoenix for this flea market, and we were not disappointed. There was a great variety of treasures and lots of vendors. We appreciated the food and beverage trucks as well as the convenient porta potties and wash stations. We would highly recommend if you are into flea markets and are in the area.

If admission were free, more people would attend and vendors have a better chance of making a profit. (Vendor rental spaces start at $65. It would be nice if they just paid a percentage of sales vs. a fee for space when they might sell nothing.) Attendees have to pay $5 but there’s no certainty regarding how many vendors will attend, if items will be affordably priced, and if items will be the same or different each subsequent month.Vendors could pay a refundable deposit, to ensure they come. And they can keep notes/receipts of purchases.Park ‘n’ Swap seems like a better deal for attendees and vendors.

First time coming back after their Tempe market. They must have expanded, and it seems like way more vendors. There was plenty of parking at Paradise Valley Community College, and the $5 entrance wasn't bad. Wish they had more variety of vendors. After about halfway through, they seem all the same. But this is compared to the vintage market in Alameda. After walking through the entire market, I only walked away with a book.

I went to this market for the very first time this weekend. 1/6/23. It was $5 to enter. The market was rather small but I think it has the potential to be much bigger as the season warms up. Today was cold and just after the Christmas season so I'm not sure if that had any impact on vendor turnout. The crowd was quite busy even when we arrived at 8:20am. As we were leaving around 11am a steady stream of customers were flowing in. All of the vendors had interesting merchandise but you do have to dig through boxes. I don't mind doing that and found a couple of pretty frames stacked on top of each other in an old suitcase. Some items were reasonably priced and others were not so much. You can negotiable with most of the vendors and all of them took my offers. They had a couple of food trucks on the day I attended along with a coffee, lemonade, ice cream and kettle-corn vendor. I would definitely go again but would hope that there would be more vendors who offer!more unique, vintage home decor, lighting and furniture etc. Today there were alot of clothing and old t-shirts vendors. More variety would be nice. I found out on my visit that the company "Thieves Market" has recently been sold to a new owner so hopefully there are some new and exciting things in the works.
