It is a store that in theory has a great variety of products, however they have very little inventory or a lot of shortages.
The clothes come out very well and I love seeing the seasonal products and decorations.

I never thought I’d compare Target to Walmart, the customer service was amazing and few years back but it really is no better than Walmart now. No one from the lines comes to help with the registers during a rush, there’s usually only ever one register open, the self check outs should be for people getting a few items, not a full cart but we end up having to ring up our own items, bag our own stuff because you have no cashiers.

I shopped for a few items at the Tempe store on Baseline and McClintock. My purchases included a bottle of wine and the employee assisting in the self check out line asked to scan my DL. She couldn't explain the reason for this odd procedure other than "you're buying alcohol". This was my first experience having my DL scanned to buy a bottle of Riesling. Needless to say it was the first and the last time I bought alcohol from a Target store. Where does Target store that information? How long do they store it and what's being done to protect my identity? Please train your staff to be able to answer those questions!

Baseline Target store is a relatively smaller one with limited collections. However, it has friendly and helpful staff.

Small parking lot and long lines during weekdays around 11am-2pm. They only have 5 registers (4 self checkout and 1 regular register) open all the times i visit. There were around 15-30 people waiting in line each time i visit. You think they would put more employees to work register instead or stocking shelves to help.

Way cheaper than Fry’s/Kroger store. Employees know where things are unlike Fry’s and are friendly too. Fast check out even when swamped staples cheaper than Fry’s too

Walking inside this Target was the equivalent of Doctor Who's companions seeing the TARDIS for the very first time. I swear it's bigger on the inside. Outside, it looks like a baby Target. Inside, you have to ask yourself if you somehow misjudged the exterior. There's a Starbucks right as you enter and the dollar section to your left. The floors are clean, and there's a certain quiet atmosphere that makes you want to whisper, and it made me really listen to the Latinx Christmas Music and enjoy my aimless wandering, bopping my head more than anyone should in a store without wearing ear pods. The employees said hello as I walked inside, and the cashier was friendly. No long lines or waits. Nice selections for clothes, home, etc, but limited for grocery, especially produce. Looked pretty fresh though. I liked having a large variety of books as well as party games. It's impossible to find Doomlings expansion packs in person, so I'm glad pretty satisfied to know this store will have new expansions in the future. The parking lot is a little small, and the store is located in an old part of Tempe, but it's worth a visit.
