BLUF: Don't bother making reservations at this location, they won't hold them.Edit 2/21/24: Upgraded from 1 star to 2 because after contacting corporate yesterday, I received another email today saying that they can honor my reservation. 2 stars is the max I'm willing to go at this point as I shouldn't have to contact corporate to have a reservation honored. If reservations aren't honored then what is the point of having them?Details: I booked a room at this location back on 11/16/23 (3 months ago) for this coming Friday 2/23/24 to stay at while attending the Innings Festival at Tempe Beach Park happening that weekend and within walking distance. I booked 3 months in advance to ensure I would have a room come festival time and not have to try to find something last minute. I received an email from the Director of Sales for this location today, 2/20/24, telling me they are moving my reservation to the Chandler location because THEY overbooked. The fact that they waited until 3 days before the festival to let me know is unacceptable. They have now left me with no options within walking distance of the venue and completely ruining the plans my wife and I had for the weekend.

Came here for youth soccer tournament. One week before arriving the hotel canceled a third of all our teams reservations which were made over three months prior (only notifying a couple of them via email - the others had no notice). Breakfast was supposedly included (an essential part of getting kids ready for soccer) but was the most skimpy and lame hotel breakfast I have ever seen (in 30 plus years of traveling). The hotel staff were nice and the location is great. Obviously never coming back.

I was hoping to leave a great review but there was nothing good to share :(1st the hotel charge $15 for parking which is fine IF they have a parking space. We arrived in the evening and had to drive around over 20min looking for parking hoping someone would leave, thankfully somebody finally left and we were able to park but finding parking at a hotel should never be an issue especially if they’re charging. When we got to our room, the door was propped OPEN someone had turned the lock across the top to keep the door open…. After checking the room out it seemed safe so we stayed. We then noticed garbage (some wrapper) under the pillow headboard. Under a couch pillow was a used VAP PEN ….barf…. We didn’t even have to pull the couch out to find it. It was literally just under a small throw pillow. The vent on the bathroom was seepingDust and the bath soap dispensers were covered in build up, dust and hair ….When we were going to bed the mirror next to the bed almost fell on me, it was not screwed into the wall anymore so it was just propped up ready to tip over .We used the elevator to come and go from the 2nd floor and from the time we arrive until we checked out at 11am it was so dirty! Cereal and crumbs smashed up all over the floor, I wish someone could have just ran a quick vacuum or something in there. We put the do not disturb sign on the door but Around 8:50am house keeping came knocking to clean anyway WAYYYY before checkout and my sign was on the door. So much for sleeping in…We stay in Tempe often for my husbands marathons or my sons soccer games but we definitely will not be able to stay here again, nor can we recommend it to anyone.

Loved it, walking distance to my husband's Christmas party location. The room was perfect and desk service was very friendly.

Despite the booking clearly stating that the amount charged at booking was the "total amount", upon arrival my daughter was told an additional $100 deposit was required of her. She paid the deposit AND VERIFIED THAT THE CHARGE WENT THROUGH on her banking app. Shortly after putting her things in her room she left only to return moments later and find that she had been locked out. The horrible woman at the front desk then told her there was a problem with the deposit and despite being shown proof that the charge had in fact gone through, she refused to issue her a new key to the room. My daughter was left standing in the lobby for more than 30 minutes with no access to any of her belongings while the rude and incompetent front desk employee repeatedly tried to charge her card for a SECOND TIME before eventually, finally, giving her a new key and telling her she was doing her a FAVOR and then telling her that she "better not trash the room". My daughter is a 3rd year double major student at Texas Tech University who was in Phoenix by invitation to represent her University at a Turning Point political conference. A scenario does not exist in which she should be hassled, reprimanded or demeaned by an employee who's sole purpose is to provide HOSPITALITY and ensure her stay is SAFE AND PLEASANT. We transferred her to the Sheraton the next morning which was not soon enough.

Get ready to pay an extra $15 for parking in addition to your room reservation. Also get ready for worn sheets with stains and thin spots. I kid you not, when I called the front desk for fresh sheets, they handed me a pillow case with eyeliner makeup stains on it. They didn’t even bother to offer a new one, it was like take it or leave it.That being said, the room was fine, but the TV remote barely worked.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a conference, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The hotel had several strengths that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.First and foremost, the hotel's amenities and the room itself were in excellent condition. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and provided a comfortable environment for relaxation after a long day at the conference. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. One notable aspect that I truly appreciated was the availability of free printing and computers. This feature made it incredibly convenient for me to take care of last-minute conference-related tasks without any additional hassle. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated their prompt response to any requests I had. However, there was one slight hiccup during my stay. When I requested housekeeping after returning from a long day at the conference, the room wasn't ready as expected. I had to wait for a little while before it was serviced. While this was a minor inconvenience, I was pleased to see that the hotel staff immediately addressed the situation and ensured the room was cleaned to my satisfaction. In summary, this hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay, with the only minor issue being a brief delay in housekeeping. The staff's quick response, the excellent room conditions, and the availability of free printing and computers more than made up for this minor hiccup, making it a viable choice for future conference stays.

Nice location if you're interested in having plenty of walkable options for dining, entertainment, etc. The room was standard, though the shower needed some updating. There is a fire station right next door and what appears to be a highrise college dorm/apartment, but none of that bothered us with the exception of a few sirens (and this was Halloween weekend with a lot of parties). There's a tiny 24/7 corner shop in the lobby with snacks and some other items you may need while traveling. We had breakfast from the hotel bistro and it was good; a bit expensive but to be expected. Best part about it was the service - very friendly and kind!Note that parking in the hotel lot costs $15 per night when we were there.Rooms: Pretty standard. Very clean. Only thing I have feedback on is the shower - the shower wall seemed to have had a giant split across it at some point, and had been repaired in such a way that it was relatively unsightly. Still, just a cosmetic thing. Also wasn't a fan of the hotel provided body wash - seemed to smell unpleasant to me.
