I enjoy shopping at Safeway in Tempe. There is a positive quality there in the way the products are always neatly displayed and the staff is dedicated and friendly. Hettie was especially helpful as I navigated using an OTC card. She stayed with me until we figured it out. Thank you, Hettie!

I like this store but there are constant homeless people asking for money outside in parking lot or by the carts. It was kinda scary twice.

My bike got stolen at the front, in the night the light was not good. Specifically right beside the entrance.
So sad, these are the photos of me and my folding bike, just got from my friend a month ago. I parked right in front of the Safeway bike parking lot and locked it. I went into the grocery store for about 10-15 minutes, when I came out it wasn't there anymore.
I looked around, there was no one there, I got back to the store and asked a guy who worked there, is there any CCTV there he said no. I called the police and hopefully they will helping me to find it.
Just want to remind everyone who's going to park your bike or scooter please be careful better using a double lock.

When returning items, that I threw away because it look nasty and gross 😝 and I didn't eat it because it looked bad, smelled bad. However, when taken my recipe back for an refund, they told me to bring back the whole package. I said really. You see how nasty and disgusting that was. Something is wrong with restaurants and stores 😒. I'm NOT bringing back nothing it's in my garage you go get it. Businesses and companies has gotten really low down and disgusting 🫣

Worst customer service at the SAFEWAY Pharmacy department. GO ELSEWHERE! I went there with my prescription and the 5’5 short large girl with glasses accused me that it was a fake prescription. The pharmacist verified it was real. The 5’5 short large girl then tells me it will be ready in an hour. I go back to the pharmacy in 2 1/2 hours. Wasted my time to drive there only for her to tell me “I have so many medications to fill it’s not ready. I should get to it by 2pm.” Then why did you tell me to come back in an hour. SMH!
