It's very convenient because it's in walking distance but there is not a lot of food to choose from

It's a cross between a convenience store and a grocery store. A little store with the big heart. Definitely come support it.Can't believe the same owners are still there (Joe). This place did a lot for my family growing up. I definitely support it if I'm ever in the neighborhood

The Mexican lady that runs the deli is the real deal!! She’s a fantastic cook, the albodigas soup is authentic. The salsas are perfect. If you’re looking for salsa come here. She has precut vegetables. The staff is friendly. I hear she also makes a killer menudo.

I miss living near Rollins. I used to get fat burritos from the deli for very cheap. Great Mexican baked goods too. Prices on groceries are reasonable, it's not Walmart. Good to grab a couple things. Great place for beer and wine too.

This Neighborhood Staple has been around over 50 years and it's still providing everyone with so much convenience. Yummy hot foods and cold drinks..I love it here

Wow, this place has been here for at least 30 or 40 years. I grew up going here, and my parents still live nearby. Went in recently and it still seems to serve the neighborhood very well, with great prices on many things (esp considering inflation!), a clean tidy space, and good selection - impressive since it’s not a huge place (like a cross between grocery and convenience store). Even have a good pet section. The area would be a bit of a food desert without it. Rollins reminds me of a time in Tempe when small businesses were the norm, and gentrifying huge corporate chains weren’t slowly taking over…

They barely have any food. Only reason to go here is if you live in the neighborhood.

This place is a dump. I've seen mice in the produce section before, and they will leave things in stock til they rot. Prices aren't low either. It's a really depressing place.

My lifesaver during my short stay (a business trip) in Tempe-Phoenix, which was located in close proximity from my accommodation. Thanks to this little shop, I can save some money that would've been otherwise spent for pricey breakfast in cafes and restaurant during the trip. A little bit run-down and not well-ventilated, but it gets the job done.

The "pure water" dispenser at the door dispenses water with 535ppm (total dissolved solids). That's the exact same measurement I get from my tap water. Reverse-osmosis filtered water is typically in the 10-50ppm range (at 80-120ppm you'd change the filter). You can buy an inexpensive "TDS meter" to compare their water to the more reputable vending machines (and your tap water). They're just selling tap water as pure/filtered. It's a fraud, basically.
