My wife and I would often travel and need to board our dogs. Nairobi and Kenya both have different needs, and this place always delivered. Nairobi is an English Bull Dog and Kenya is a Chichon (Chihuahua- Bijan Mix). They always came home bathed, full and happy. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Always our first choice for daycare/boarding for our dog and kitten. Bruno and Benji both enjoy it and are always so happy when we pick up. Also love the grooming that Bruno receives before pick up. Drop offs with Preppy Pet are always fast and stress free. The owner and employees always greet our animals with excitement, and it leaves us happy knowing that our animals are in safe hands when we are traveling. Definitely would recommended to others for their daycare/boarding needs.

imagine getting harassed by the dog groomer after leaving a review at this place for the poor experience one had ?! Now I have to let everyone know to be warned when not only experiencing the most unprofessional visit a "grooming" shop such as this could ever "offer" , but u could potentially then have the groomer message u not once but twice after ignoring them the first time and realizing then in their second msg they simply are refusing to take ownership of the matter , as a rightful business would do, you would think?! but yet instead , they make them selves a victim to the their mistake ?!?? oh no , not today Karen , I def will be reporting this to the BBB and the attorney general , I ignored the first message but to allow the ignorance and dishonesty to continue for this place where I have been a loyal customer for now 10 years is def where I put my foot down, the audacity the groomer messaged the second time as if the first wasn't enough for them , where as the company themselves , they have my email my number and not to mention, the owner himself said this would be handled as they said they would in my first review ?!? Not when it was an issue then when I first complained over the phone once it first happened no one emailed me or called me to apologize after their mistakes , yes a free bath was offered, but until it's actually brought into spotlight is when they make a intent to correct the entire issue where as a solution was still not brought to me , someone is taking a "course of action? " where , because a free bath is not enough to convince me to continue business with this company if this is the way they handle business so help me god I pray the community keeps u in business because I SURE WONT , shall I provide the pics ???

I’m so glad I found this dog boarding through NextDoor app! So sweet, my dog was happy and healthy the full 6 evenings and the owner was so so sweet and made sure my dog was in good health especially after his surgery. I will recommend times ten to everyone in the valley! It’s affordable and my dog enjoyed his sweet stay.

Preppy Pet Tempe does it all, I dropped off my dog, Levi while I was away on vacation and had him groomed prior to pickup and he looked amazing! I can’t thank Dante and his team enough on the easy pickup and drop off process and the level of care provided to our family member. We will be returning!

Dante is the best of the best! Being a dog owner himself he understands the responsibility and the patience behind taking care of dogs of all ages. Whether it is simply dog sitting for the day, grooming, or overnight boarding, Dante and his team are very meticulous. Dropping and picking up my dog at preppy pet is such a stress free experience as the team thoroughly understands how to quickly understand your dogs behavior and then act accordingly. Picking up and dropping my dog off each time I am out of town has never been such a breeze. Look no further, Dante and the preppy pet team guarantees that your dog is in the best care in the valley. 5 stars without a doubt!

We have left our dog Bobby here multiple times ranging from quick weekend stays to multi-week vacations. We have always been pleased with the love and care they show to him. They are attentive with the food and treats. They encourage us to bring personal items to spruce up his kennel and make it feel more like home. The groomers do an excellent job as well. I love the cameras in the play rooms so we can check in on him even when we are out of the country. Everything about the place is great including the pricing. We will definitely continue to use them for all future boarding.

My skittish dog wo t let anyone at petsmart trim his nails, but, at preppy pet; we finally found a place where he can be taken care of! The environment is calm, and the staff really cares, and knows what they r doing! PreppyPet is the place to go!!!!!!
