I read a great article about how ACE Hardware beat out Loew's and Home Depot for their great service and huge variety of products! I gave an awful description of something I was looking for to the greeter at the door and they took me right to it! WOW!

Missy provided me with a world-class customer experience and proved to have very expensive product knowledge on everything that I asked about. She really made the experience world class and well above larger box stores like home depot and lowes.

I genuinely got some great service today. Payton was polite, thoughtful, accommodating and knowledgeable. If I am going to Ace Hardware, I have always had good luck at “Paul’s” regardless of which location.

I’m always greeted and asked if I need assistance finding something. If I have questions, help is usually not too far away. Most recently I was looking around town all day for replacement wheels for my gorilla cart wheelbarrow. I should have started here because they were the only store who had what I needed. Kellie is usually working up front as the cashier when I come in and I enjoy my interactions with her.

Moved my son in to an appointment and bought a curtain rod elsewhere. Realized it didn't have any hardware included. We didn't want to drive all the back to IKEA so looked for a hardware store nearby. Paul's Ace was the closest one. It was clean and well laid out. We found help right away. So glad we got the help as they have so many drawers of hardware to pick from, I had no clue where to begin. Checkout was fast and friendly. My son will be back for sure when he needs tools or such.

Love this store!! I love the fact that since I shop here often most of the staff know my name and treat me like family. The staff is laid back and I love joking around with them!

Great big store Evan was very helpful they have the best deal on pool filter sand and loaded it right in my trunk. And they got some killer good soldiers pop choices, lots of fun stuff clothes tools 5 stars would shop here again God bless.-pc

This is a nice store with a nice selection. Upon entering, I was carrying a bag and wearing a backpack, so I thought I'd be helpful and leave my bag upfront. The old, unkempt, crabby woman at the register(think cat lady combined with prison guard personality)ordered me to also remove my backpack in a tone befitting a county jail intake matron. I complied without a word since I just wanted to get on with my shopping. I walked around the store and was asked if I needed help about 10 times and followed everywhere. I had a feeling it was more about treating me like a shoplifter just because I wore a backpack(that I already removed when I walked in). The other annoying thing is when I had a question the staff isn't smart enough to be more specific than answering tools section(Correct answer is aisle number and shelf level).I bought a tarp, shoelace, $10 wool socks, pepper spray and made sure to get my receipt or be falsely detained by the woman auditioning for crazy cat lady/prison guard. I spent over $43 and the cashier woman prison guard wasn't even nice enough to apologize and thank me for my business.Instead, she again admonished me not to look at the 3 different pepper sprays the one competent staff Russ put on the counter for me to look at.It didn't occur to her they were on the counter for me to look at. After her 2nd incredibly rude outburst(not to be confused with customer service)I told her firmly to learn some manners which I do rarely but will call out jerks when they deserve it.Since the one employee Russ was professional and competent and they had the items I wanted I bumped this store up to 3 stars.I doubt I'll shop there again. This is why online shopping is so popular.

An update for Paul's Ace Hardware is way overdue. Today's visit was a quick trip to pick up a garden hose. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. Another employee quickly asked if he could help me and escorted me to the garden hose section and helped me pick out a hose that would meet my needs. Check out was very quick. I was in and out with exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes (try doing that at a big box hardware store). Parking is close to the door. I was very pleased that they open at 6:30am--it is really nice to be able to get my shopping done before it gets too hot on a 100 plus degree day.

Came to get some keys made and some electrical parts for my rental. Was helped by Chaz who was super helpful and explained all the additional services this ace offers. As I was leaving my car battery died and Chaz saved the day by giving me a jump with his own car. Top notch service!
