The dog parks are very nice. They have big shade trees and plenty of benches for people as they watch their dogs. They have a watering station inside the dogpark. There are two dog parks. There is a playground right outside of the dogpark, so your two-legged kids can play as you watch your four-legged kids in the dogpark. There are picnic areas close to the dog park so you can bring a picnic lunch or supper and really enjoy your day at the park and dog park.

Being from out of town had no idea what really was here. Despite some newer apartment buildings across the street, the park is dated and numerous homeless people throughout. Although we didn't have any problems, I would tell people to exercise caution.

They have cleared out alot of natural plants most of the animals are gone. Was better when more natural.

It's a lot of glass once you hit the dirt. But otherwise a very nice park.
Dog-friendliness: Park is just enough space to run around. Gets a little stinky sometimes. No small/large dog separation.

Homeless come here to get a meal & some needed items every couple Saturdays of the month. About 5-6pm. 1st Picknick shelter area. It's a place with lots of trees, grass, and hang out areas.

Sometimes take my little one (16lbs) there and he loves it. We usually avoid the crowd and go in the middle of the day. Nice big area for the dog to run around and play fetch, and great amount of shaded area for humans to relax.
