I always try to support small businesses, and I don’t like leaving negative reviews because I know they’re doing their best. However, my recent experience was a bit disappointing. With a full staff on hand and some employees just sitting around, the service was still quite slow. If you have an appointment, I’d recommend planning for an extra 15-20 minutes, as things don’t move very quickly. I appreciate the mom-and-pop feel, but maybe it’s time to bring in a little extra help in from the kids

I’ve been working with Mom & Pop Tax Shop since early 2022. My books were a mess, but Autumn and her team went to quick work & cleaned them up without hesitation.
The whole team is fantastic, knowledgeable & very responsive. Every month they complete my bookkeeping & file my business’s sales taxes. Not only do they do everything to help me keep my QuickBooks on track, but they also file mine & my husband’s personal annual taxes.
If you have been looking for a good tax-accounting team, look no further. I tell all of my small business friends about them, and most have already started using their services (& all are very happy they did)!

They are very experienced in adjusting to one's needs, being very reliable and professional. I would definitely recommend to others.

By far the best tax & accounting business I have used to help me with filing. They are prompt and very acknowledged in every question I ask and provide me with answers in a timely manner. Reliability is hard to find but I am glad I can look no further because that is what this business is all about. They help to put me at ease when it comes to the logistics of accounting for my small business by ensuring I know the deadlines, forms needed, organizing my bookkeeping, etc.

What a great experience so far working with Mom & Pop Tax Shop! From the very beginning, they have taken the time to understand our business needs and provide support where we needed it most. Letting them take over the bookkeeping was an immediate relief, allowing us to focus on what we do day in and day out. The entire team has been very responsive and accommodating, which makes us feel confident that no matter who is helping or what we throw at them, it will be handled correctly. We used M&P in 2022 and were not satisfied with our experience. Several meetings were no showed and the level of professionalism just wasn't there. Wouldn't recommend.

I was referred to M&P for my small business accounting by a fellow vendor and have had peace of mind since the day I hired them! Autumn is incredibly knowledgable and helpful when it comes to long term goals and tax planning, and Anita handles the day-to-day details making sure all of my booking keeping is tracked and quarterly responsibilities are handled! Business ownership is stressful enough, and I couldn't be more happy to leave this part of running a business and managing my book keeping and all things taxes and payroll to the Mom & Pop Tax Shop team!
