I had a bad experience with this location. service was a joke and (One person in the front desk that couldn't do anything )when I complained to the manager, she offered me 25,000 points as a Hilton's Gold member. After I did not receive the points and contact Hilton's customer service, they asked me if I have this offer in writing. So not only I had to get towels from the pool since there was no one to provide me that and the suitcase rack was broken, I did not receive the curtesy points. This location is nothing like other Graduate locations that we visited and empty promises from the manager are not fulfilled.
They also charge for parking like it's a great location although it's far from being like that.

Good view fr upper deck floor pool.. other than that.. I would go elsewhere.. no complimentary coffee no included breakfast, rooms vastly need updated, not exactly walking distance to alot of places in 100 degree heat.. 1 microwave in 1st floor.. none in room, fridge hardly works.. no hilton points.. pretty much all negative in every aspects..

Too expensive. Feels like a moderate renewal to the Howard Johnsons that it was. Very few restaurants nearby. Plan to drive everywhere.

Due to their hotel policy, regardless of what we had included in our booking they did not include breakfast until we had to Get a manager involved and they provided us $15 card for 1 day; for two guests on a two day trip. Bad customer service.

Wonderful place to hang out by the pool and have a drink with friends. Never stayed there though.

If you are a rock solid sleeper then you won’t mind the a/c unit kicking on with a loud grinding sound then shutting down and coming back on again all night long, really sleep disrupting. Nothing they can do about it apparently. Bed comfortable but lack of available outlets. Bathroom average needs updating, lighting is poor, water pressure weak and inconsistent in temperature. Close to the ASU campus so that was a plus. Nice pool. Had high hopes for it but will be choosing another hotel the next time.
Walkability: Close to ASU.

Service is great. Restaurant / Bar is delicious. Hotel is whimsical. Rooms are clean and adequate… but you can tell the property is older and rehabbed with subtle touches and a coat of paint.

I stayed for one night as I was seeing a show at ASU Gammage that ended late. The hotel is nice but could definitely use an upgrade as others have said. When I checked in on Tuesday night(only staying the one night), I was told that breakfast was from 6am-11am the following day. I got up early to be of the first few and when I went downstairs at 6:30am I overheard the front desk telling another guest that there is breakfast everyday but Wednesday..hmm. Then, I checked the coffee station and the coffee was empty. There were "grab and go" breakfast($$$) options of a yogurt parfait or a cold breakfast sandwich with a microwave on the counter. I drove to Starbucks because there's nothing in walking distance either. Check in/Checkout was fast so that was nice. I will stay again if I'm in a pinch but otherwise meh. 3 stars for convenience of being close to ASU Gammage, the cold A/C, no fee late check-in and for their best try at shining up an aged room.

Do not recommend the Graduate Tempe. We were charged as a no-show and they had someone else listed under our room when we went to check out. Ended up with additional charges from all of their confusion, and it sounded like we weren't the only guests they had messed up reservations for. It was sorted out finally a week or so later. Then I also had a business trip scheduled that I had to cancel the hotel reservation. Received confirmation of the cancellation and met the terms, but they still charged the card on file and have still not resolved the charge.
The tiny cafe on-site is nice, but otherwise the hotel feels tired and the room lacked basic needs such as a lamp and outlet on both sides of the bed. The AC unit also blows directly onto the bed and kicks on about every 3-5 minutes.

Right across the street from Gammage Auditorium where we saw Peter Pan. Walking distance is a good opportunity. Not a fancy place but comfortable enough for a night stay. Very convenient access to ASU.
Rooms: They were theme oriented with comfortable beds but not overly comfortable..
Walkability: Very close to ASU so they were functional to our purpose..

Best hotel around. 5 ? service, rooms pool and spa at 3 ? prices. The location is amazing in Tempe AZ. Even if I know people are visiting all the way out in peora AZ I tell them to stay at the Graduate in Tempe because it's that worth it.
Rooms: Rooms are cute and clean every time, the cleaning staff does amazing work. Your view will be great to amazing and the showers are hot clean and the water quality is as good no large calcium build ups so you actually feel better after a shower.
Safety: It's nice and quiet here it's Sunday morning g and I can see only 8 people outside in a mile around me
Food and drinks: Bar is amazing and the woman bartenders are cute and know how to keep you around.

Great hotel. Really cool and unique art in the rooms. Hotel keys are old student athlete ID's which is really cool too. Very nice front desk workers. Priced well. Rooms need to be fixed up a bit though.
