Absolutely five stars. These cars are award winning jewels. I could not believe that there would be any comments that would detract from a five star rating, so I checked those comments. Bottom line, the detractors obviously did not understand that this is a full restoration shop with a waiting list one would expect from one of the top restoration shops in the country. They manage their workload exceptionally well and are not one of those shops that puts your car in a corner and takes years to complete it. That said, check out who gave 5 stars (everyone that has had work done there) and who didn't.

While I do not have a car of my own at Deluxe Customs, I have been involved in documenting the restoration of two cars there over the past two years. Seeing cars go from rust and bondo to Concours quality has been an amazing education. What has impressed me most about the shop is the quality and dedication of the staff. Their willingness to help as well as share knowledge indicates pride and confidence in their work; and is very evident in their finished products.

I have personally found Matt and his team extremely helpful in all manner of Porsche 356 restoration. The wait is due to particular people wanting the best that is available on a national level. Furthermore, once your car is being restored I don't know of a shop in the country that can knock it out in less time. The first car they built for me took one year to build and proceeded to win two national concours awards in its first year of competition. Can't wait to see how the second one they are building will do in the outlaw competitions later this year. Excellence takes time. Plenty of 356 shops can quickly "cave and pave". If thats what you're looking for this is the wrong shop for you.
