Thank you to the pharmacy staff! This is the best pharmacy I've used in the city, and probably my favorite of the cities I've lived. The pharmacists and techs are really caring (it's very easy to reach them via phone) and upbeat (it's the only pharmacy I've been to where they're jamming out to emo music when I come in). I love how the head pharmacist displays photos of his kids. It all makes a huge difference to patients. And I'm sure it contributes to why the pharmacy is so efficient and well-running. I recently moved to Phoenix but I think I am going to commute to Tempe to keep this pharmacy (written as I am currently on hold for 25 minutes at the CVS near my new home).

The vagrants outside may harass you. That alone makes me avoid.

Updating this review. While I still stand that this location is not great once the sun goes down, during the day they do a damn good job making sure the self check outs are staffed and making sure the homeless are loitering/stealing or harassing everyone. They even had security working there. It makes me wonder where they are during the night time. I even used the pharmacy recently. I got my prescription without any issues and quickly. I stop here now when I need something quick after work as its close to many public transportation (bus, free shuttle, 10 minute walk to light rail or a quick ride on the street car)

I'd like to start this review off as a big thank you to Brian from the Pharmacy. Not really the type of person to leave reviews but Brian from the pharmacy is a well rounded guy with a great work ethic. I've had to stop by a few times and Brian has demonstrated patience, knowledge, and overall was very helpful and is actually happy to be at work. Glad too see a kind, hardworking, and informative pharmacist taking care of business!!

The actual pharmacy for prescriptions here is great! Just moved here from SoCal and the girls here in this pharmacy made it so easy! (which was a great change from the pharmacies i'm used to back in CA) Stevie specifically has made every trip to this pharmacy a breeze. Whether it was coordinating between different Dr offices for my different Rx's, while still finishing my move, or filling a new Rx from even a new Dr. here in AZ, she just made everything WORK SEAMLESSLY! No hassle and more than reasonable wait times to fill the Rx whenever she's in... and that's IF the Rx hasn't been sent in electronically already, in which case it's ready by the time I get there, without fail when she's around. Definitely worth a shot, just ask for Stevie !

Look it's long but worth the read This CVS pharmacy offered me the worst prescription pickup I have ever experienced. I go to pick up, and no one approached me. This man ended up yelling over the room to help me, and asked for my insurance card (so much for privacy). I hand them a photo, and he asks if I have an updated one. I tell him that's the correct information and updated card. They tell me it's not (like they know my insurance better than me), I tell them that my insurance is correct as I just used it at the doctor. Once I said this I got a snooty little murmur from the peanut gallery telling me that the doctor and Rx cards are different. Like I said, I know my insurance better than they do, and my one card has both information on it. After going back and forth, I leave defeated. 5 minutes later I get a call from cvs letting me know my insurance does not cover this prescription (spoiler alert! It does). I decide to call my insurance agent, and she assures me all my information is correct and up to date, duhhh. I tell her how simple minded the employees were and she helped me out by calling them for me. Let's skip ahead here- my insurance information was correct the disrespectful little wanna be pharmacists just didn't enter in the numbers correct.I walk in, ask for my prescription and not one of the original workers could even look in my direction. Mind you their manager/higher up was there the entire time. I got my prescription for free covered by my insurance, and will never be returning.I mean hey what more do you expect from a CVS right off of the ASU campus. Good workers don't come cheap, and I can see CVS is penny pinching. Look I'm not even mad, this experience was kinda funny, but at the end of the day I'm just thankful to not be dull-witted and miserable with my job.

The pharmacy staff were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me with my insurance. I think his name was Cliff? He deserves a raise ?

It's dirty surrounded by people sleeping on the ground right in front of the entrances (although they are mostly harmless they are also very dirty). It's very poorly stocked, no cold drinks or bottled waters the coolers are almost empty and what is in stock is all in disarray. Their web site says open 24/7 but that doesn't apply to the pharmacy they close pretty early actually 8pm and 6pm on weekends. Staff seems to be nice but young not really experienced still they do seem to try

Great place to run into entitled customers. It's like walking into a drama. The homeless people are cool (better than the customers) except for this one guy, you'll know.

I went here and bought a ton of stuff, the cashier started ringing me up at 1:30am, at 2:02am he was still ringing me up then had the audacity to tell me he couldn't ring the liquor up past 2am yet it was his fault. The manager started being extremely rude and kept threatening to kick me out, he was rude and racist!!! I can't believe cvs let's people like that manage. Horrible.

The cvs is a cvs and it's pretty normal, however the location is a whole other story. You can't enter this cvs without seeing numerous homeless people or people on drugs. I mean that's mill basically but I try to avoid this cvs at all times especially at night.

I'm giving this CVS more stars than it should get based on the Pharmacy Staff. Pharmacist and all the clerks are amazing, despite the fact they probably get all of the college foot traffic. Always super helpful, explain every prescription to me, fill my prescriptions ahead of time and they work fast. However, the rest of the staff aside from the pharmacy sucks. Sucks, plain and simple. I couldn't sleep, came in at 1AM to get some products and the woman at the register asked me if I needed assistance, and I said yes. So she rolled her eyes and gave me the rudest response ever. No worries, it's 1AM I get it. I work in customer service. But rude. Front cashier guy, rude. Everyone aside from the pharmacy staff, rude. I've been going here for months and am just now writing this review because every time I come in the staff sucks. They're lucky they're in a good location with the college otherwise, no. If you do not NEED to come to this pharmacy, don't bother. Getting in and out with construction and lights in a car is a pain.
