Absolutely the worst service ever. Would not recommend Ken at all to anyone. The initial consult was great- he provided us good details about the blinds etc. It took about 3-4 weeks for blinds to be installed. That also required alot of follow up which was very annoying. There were two additional blinds that were added which we didn't want- We chalked it down to miscommunication. For the last 2 months we have been trying to get our money back for those two additional blinds that we were charged for. We have tried everything--phone calls, mesgs /emails several times. No response. Will be escalating this to their corporate office. Do yourself a favor and don't choose budget blinds of Tempe. The other locations may be different, can't speak for them.I wanted to Edit this post. After about 15-20 mins of this review i got a call from the new owners of Budget Blinds Tempe- Deb and her daughter Tiffany. Within the hour I got my money back. Really thankful to them for acting on this so quickly. Apparently Ken had sold the business to them and was just overall providing sloppy service. With new owners, I look forward to better service.

Great service, knowledgeable, excellent pricing and an A+ installer. I contacted Ken to replace a few older blinds in my home. Ken was honest and easy to work with ... he deterred me from replacing blinds that were still okay. The blinds that I did replace look amazing, modern, very well hung/installed, competitively priced. He stayed in communication with me with any delays. Every window in my home has been outfitted by Budget Blinds.

Absolutely terrible service. Even before I got the shutters, Ken was lying to me a lot. After many months of waiting (No issues with that, I knew going ion there would be a long lead time) I was going to the east coast for a funeral. Hours before I left, Ken called and said I needed to take delivery of the blinds the next day, he had no place to store them. He said there was absolutely no exception - just to leave my house unlocked. I wasn't going to leave the house unlocked, so I arranged to leave the garage combination posted by the door. Ken promised that he would put the shutters in the garage, close and lock it, lock the gate, etc. Over the next week I called multiple times and texted multiple times and he didn't reply. When I got home, the gate was still unlocked, with the garage combination posted there. I then locked the gate and took down the combination and left messages with no replies. Then he called me, very update that he couldn't get into the garage (over a week after the absolute deadline.Then they delivered completely smashed shutters. The first set of installers said they had never seen anything like it. They managed to piece most of them together, but for some where the louvers were supposed to be adjustable, they told me to not touch them or they would all fall apart again. They left with several missing and many having missing louvers. I had to complain multiple times to Ken, he was mad at me because he said he was busy dealing with "important customers".After many delays and Ken refusing to answer my phone calls or response to my text messages, he finally sent someone over to install some of the replacements. Of course I had probably asked aboput a dozen times about the remaining shattered shutters that were installed anyway. All of a sudden, they knew nothing about it. We managed to pice together a bunch of the broken shutters, but they ordered the wrong replacements for some panels. They are still refusing to respond to me to let me know if they are going to finish the installation.I contacted the main Budget Blinds office, but they tell me that will not get involved, each franchisee is responsible for their orders. If they screw you over, the main company will not get involved.

Horrible customer service. We purchased shades from them a little over year ago. After a couple of cords broke, I attempted by phone and by e-mail to get resolution for almost 6 months. I still have not had resolution and fix the blinds on my own. Great lip service but absolutely no follow-through. I would definitely recommend a different company.

Horrible customer service. Had an issue with my shades and have tried for months, even speaking to the owner to get resolution. Fixed the issue on my own. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I have an issue with one of blinds provided by Budget blinds; I called their two numbers and the numbers now belong to other businesses. I stopped by their Tempe shop and they moved out. I will file a complaint with Budget blinds National office.

Ken was great to work with! We are so happy with the quality of the product as well as the excellent customer service. We weren't sure which style to choose and Ken helped us find the right fit for our windows! This is exactly what we were looking for!

10/10 do NOT recommend- worst service ever. First Ken messed up the order, then they scheduled and canceled and rescheduled the install. No one wore protective equipment around me or my newborn baby and we are both immune compromised. I even offered to provide Ken with a mask, gloves, and booties and he still refused saying he sanitizer his hands. We had to sleep for a month in a bright bedroom at night because we didn't get the blackout shades we ordered. Here's the email Ken sent me this week- lacking, unprofessional and defensive. Not how I'd treat a customer who just spent $4200 on your business in a time like this. FAIL- get your blinds from someone who KNOWS what they are doing and can keep track of their business.Sarah,Here is the Email string from where I have been sending you the original invoice. It appears that there was a mistake in the email address. I have been to your home multiple times. I did come replace the shades that the vendor sent incorrectly. I felt like you were happy with the products, the choices and the configuration and the Discount I applied to get the specialty 9 panel window done in a very creative and functional way. I did not hear anything at that time that you had not received the original invoice. We spoke several times during that process and did not hear anything about that. Had I know I would have verified the email address and made sure you got it.As far as the doors, Yes, I am Human and do loose track of things from time to time. I would hope that the attention to getting your replacement shades and working with you to get them installed during the Beginning days of the Covid situation would say that I do care about customer service.I also feel it is a little unfair to bring this up after 4-5 weeks of not hearing anything and when I can not get your answers right away because I am in a Van all day with customers and can only look into these items at night when I get home.I am sorry that I the original invoice was going to an incorrect email address. I am sorry that after coming back out to correct the wrong shades that I accidentally forgot to send a quote for the products you chose not do the first time I came out.I am puzzled what your complaint to every source you can find would be. I provided you very good pricing for product you really liked, I provided a unique solution for a unusual window that you were also happy with. I quickly correct a vendor error. But I did forget to get you a quote while the Covid Virus began effecting virtually all aspects of our business.I am sorry to hear that you are so unhappy and I would be happy to try to resolve this if you would like.

Hi Ken and Suzanne!Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the patio blinds you installed. While we weren’t there to enjoy them this spring, we made a quick trip to Phoenix this past week to take care of some things (I know, crazy, right?) and got to see them first hand. I loved working with the team at Budget Blinds. I was working on a tight timeframe to replace blinds at my office and they checked on the status of my blinds order with their supplier EVERY DAY and followed up with me to make sure I always knew what was going on. The blinds look great and it was definitely worth the investment!! Thanks guys!!

My office had recently finished up some renovations and it was time for window treatments. We received a few bids and Budget Blinds was by far the best priced. There was a hiccup when the supplier sent out a set of blinds that were a little short, however, Suzanne and Ken were quick to correct the issue. Shade, who installed the blinds, was also professional and great to work with. I highly recommend this team!
