Enjoyable experience. The food was tasty (had both navajo tacos as well as fry bread with powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar in our group.) Excellent customer service. Had a pleasant discussion with the cashier. Yes, the prices are high, but we support native people and went, planning to eat there. Not many options within a great distance. The people working here also travel a great distance (over an hour daily,) so I am not too put off by the high price. We also sat and at at the provided tables. Some others had mentioned that there was no garbage, which was also our experience, so we took it with us and disposed at a later time.

Although it was slow, the food is simple, and the service is great!

Prices keep going up. We were here last year and it was $2 less (see photo) and here like 5-7 years ago and it was only like $4 for an Indian taco. Expecting to pay $20 if we stop back next year. The food is really, really good! I’ve had Indian tacos many places and this is my favorite place to come. The food truck is turning into a food shanty but customer service has always been superb. No trash cans on the property that we could find so we took our trash with us.Parking: $8 admission per person but free parking and lots of it.Wheelchair accessibility: As long as you can fit through a regular doorway you should be alright but it’s an uneven surface and somewhat gravely which might make it difficult. Did not see a handicap accessible porta potty nearby.

Stopping at Grandma’s Frybread Shack was a highlight of my entire road trip! The person tending the “shack” (which is a very nicely set up trailer-like building andhas plenty of shade), was super friendly and interesting to talk to, adding a very social dimension to my stop at the Four Corners monument! His frybread (which I took with honey) was stunning! This experience was one of those simple things that seem insignificant on a trip, but in truth are among the most important. I got to meet local people, talk about local topics, and eat delicious local food, all in an earnestly delightful context! If you go to the Four Corners, you must stop here!Parking: You have to pay to get into the Four Corners monument, but there’s plenty of space near the stand once you are there!

We had to have the fry bread after having it many times in the 1970's.Back then the people made it over an open fire. Four Corners was a lot better back then than it is now.

I was gonna take a picture of my fry bread, but I ate it already? (basically inhaled it. it's so delicious). This was the best frybread I've ever had (and I've had a lot?). It was freshly made, which was different and nice. The people there are superrrr kind.
