“Took care of an alternator r & r that I just wasnt motivated to tackle. They were able to do the job on short notice on a Saturday. I was not expecting to get the car back till Monday but they got it done in a couple of hours and we picked up the car Sarurday afternoon. They had good communication and reasonable pricing. Good repair shops are not cheap but this was a great value. It's a very competent shop. I will definately use them again.”

“I brought my 2020 BMW 440I hard top convertible to desert star auto today (8/4/25) for its 20,000 mile checkup. The BMW app notified me that should do so. I bought this car 8 months ago and have no record of previous maintenance. Therefore, when I had replaced the original battery, I also had an oil change. When I brought the car into Desert Star Auto today, I explained all this to Joe. I asked him to do what was ever necessary for the 20,000 mile maintenance checkup. He totally went over my car and even gave it a test drive, checked the filters, etc., and told me my car was in perfect shape and did not charge me anything. He reset all codes, checked out everything on the car including the filters, telling me that they were in great shape and didn't need to be replaced at this time. And I repeat, he didn't charge me anything! I will not have my car repaired anywhere else. Plus he's the nicest friendliest guy you could ever meet.. Ed Tannheimer”

“I went to this location a few times & always received great & friendly service. All items are in stock & label well though out the store. The locations have scan & go service where you can setup the account via your app & have your credit card information to scan all your groceries items & pay. Also have self checkout area paying w/ your credit card only for our groceries & regular checkout's as well. Also their gas station is available for members which is usually .20 or more cheaper than other locations. If you would like affordable food & or sweets combo's are available for hotdog w/ soda, pizza w/ soda, ice cream, slushes, pretzel and churros. My suggestion would be for the food area to offer real nacho cheese for pretzels, and possibly offer nachos as well.”

“The manager Chris and his team of assisting managers know how to take care of their customers, after each visit they addressed my concerns in an appropriate manner and evaluated to the best of their knowledge on multiple occasions until a solution was applied.
