This place is incredible. Where else can you try 30 high-quality mandolins in one room? The owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable - when I told him what I was looking for, he picked out exactly the mandolin I needed (I still tried all the others, but he was right). Everyone is jealous of my new mandolin. What a great experience and I'm really happy with my purchase. Thank you so much!

I (Andy) talked with Zach Vance extensively about a new mandolin and picked up an Eastman 515cc tru tone which is more of the cherry/red color after Zach said he just liked the tone better. Being somewhat new to playing Zach led me in the right direction for a great setup instrument and great sounding mandolin. I didn’t realize how effortless playing can be and how much more enjoyable it is from my hand me down I started out with. Thanks Zach and also the Mandolin Store for answering honestly questions you get.

Great selection and specialized sales. I had a bad experience shopping Amazon for a KM1050 mandolin and it was set right buying from the mandolin store. Not only can you get a lemon on Amazon, you get no support. I returned my mandolin and bought the same model from TMS. It was a great experience and I recommend them 100%. My mandolin came in Much better shape than the Amazon “seconds” I was originally sold. Zach included a nice featherweight case vs the stock soft bag. Great experience all around.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Came in a couple weeks ago and left with a new-to-me, perfectly set up Eastman mandolin. The shop owner, Zach, gave me space to try things out, and was willing to answer any questions I had about an instrument. He also gave me a solid rec for a burger at a nearby restaurant.

I was interested in a MD815 Mandolin which was a blem. I talked to a sales person on-line (Zach) and asked if possible I could get a real photo of it since the on-line photos were "stock photos". He curtly replied that he didn't have time to do that for me. Not the customer service I would expect for buying a $1,700-$2,000 instrument. I won't be dealing with these folks again in the future!

This is an amazing enterprise. Fantastic service with down to earth staff. The instruments are beautiful, and they strive in every way for excellence. I couldn't be more pleased. Its hard to find the kind of quality and service they offer. I have dealt with many music stores over the years, but none more knowledgeable and quality focused. Ordered a 315 mando from them. Zach was awesome and answered all my questions during the process about care etc. The mandolin was well packaged and protected for shipping. Very pleased with my purchase and experience with the mandolin store. Will most definitely recommend to anyone searching for new gear.

I recently did a trip down to Nashville and passed by The Mandolin Store to buy an Eastman MD315. The service and help from Dennis was superb and super friendly. As a beginner player I can't really hear many differences between several instruments of the same model, but he tried several for me and gave me some guidance on what he was hearing and which one felt richer to him, which was very appreciated! I'll definitely come back if I'm in the market for a new mandolin one day :) Thanks again!

I just bought a new mandolin from The Mandolin Store. I'm in Texas. They're in Tennessee. The customer service from Dennis and James during my decision making process is why I bought from them. They got back to my email inquiries quickly, they gave me the information I needed to make a decision, and James even quickly turned around a demo video for me of the actual mandolin I was considering. Excellent buying experience!

We drove from PA and it was so worth the trip. We had such a great experience and James was extremely helpful!! Not to bash the other stores in Nashville but we checked out quite a few and none had the service, perfect mandolin setups, and selection. Couldn’t be happier with it. People come up to me after shows to marvel at my mandolin.
