I grew up playing golf as a junior at Sun village with my grandpa with no problem. Our family has had a house inside Sun village for over 40 years. Today we tried to bring our kids out to play golf so they could experience the same thing i did growing up and got kicked off for helping carry our juniors bags along. We booked the last tee time of the day to stay out of peoples way, had no one behind us, 4 juniors playing golf and they kicked us off and would not refund our money that day. I am personally a PGA member and work at golf course and just experienced the absolute worst customer service possible at a golf course. We will not spend another penny at this golf facility and nor should anyone else who supports junior golf. I would rate this place 0 stars if i could. Also, we were staying at a house on the course and after we were kicked off, we saw 0 golfers the rest of the night… 0!

Amazing place, amazing staff. One of the most beautiful courses I’ve played on. I was visiting from LA and this course was stunning. The back 9 is challenging, so that was a lot of fun. Highly recommend it. The front staff at the golf club gave me some of the best hospitality/service Ive had in a while. 10/10. Will be coming back lots more.

Very nice 18 hole - 3 par course. Walking only. They have rollers to rent. I enjoyed a quick round!

This is a great little Par 3 golf course. It's well maintained, and great for beginners (which I am).

Me and my friends have been to a lot of golf courses in Arizona and this is only racist one. They were looking for any little thing to kick us off the course. While the Marshall plays golf he's enforcing rules and telling us to leave. The security guard was the only nice person. We were doing nothing wrong and not bothering anyone. The whole neighborhood hangs out at the clubhouse and just stares you down while you walk by. Honestly sad this still exists but these people in 20 years will all be gone and hopefully the course is ran by nicer people. This was not about the rules on the course this is about how we looked and we all felt the energy.

We can't play there any more since your clubhouse attendant traumatized my granddaughter by making a scene in the street about her wearing a pair of denim jeans shorts , which were well adorned and very pretty. The entire round my granddaughter felt everyone was watching her and waiting for them to ask why she was allowed to wear her shorts. It became so bad that she quit after the 7th hole and I had to take her home in tears. This situation could have been handled in a much more private or less dramatic way. During our play I observed two women in tank tops and two men in T shirts playing.Sorry because you have a wonderful course that we enjoyed several times. For my granddaughter,s peace of mind and well being we will find another place to play where she can concentrate on her game.ThanksCurtis Harvey

Great place to improve your short game. A very nice community with friendly people. The marshal was especially helpful friendly and generous with refreshments.

Overcrowded & Overpriced. The coarse is fairly well maintained, however, lots of bird poo to contend with. The Marshall was overzealous about insisting everyone have a bag (you'll only need 3 or 4 clubs). It's a walking Par 3 with 18 holes. Proper attire is enforced (no jeans and a collared shirt).

As a first time outa towner-visitor, my hotel was a mile and a half away. Save some bucks by booking on GolfNow.com . I got a killer last minute deal, 18/$15, including taxes and fees. The first time I played, the front nine played slow because I got caught behind a couple of duffers. The second time I played, I asked the pro shop if I could start and play the back nine twice and they were very accommodating. I finished my round of 18 in 90 minutes. The back nine is more challenging and interesting because of the water holes; 9 hole players peel off after the front nine so the back nine is less congested. WARNING: #13 blue/back tee yardage stone lies, hole plays shorter - play to the yardage on the scorecard. Also, visitors have to enter using the manned Bell Rd entrance, and to pick up a temporary parking pass. The course has a warm up station where one hits into a net, and a practice green, but I can't speak to either. Greens play medium slow. Max iron needed is maybe 160 yards IF wind is blowing in your face and tee/pin is back. Tees are hard, bring a short tee, but plenty of broken tees can be found and reused.

I played here yesterday with my fiance, her niece and boyfriend. Unfortunately we had a terrible customer service experience. On hole #9 tee, an "off-duty" ranger informed us we should not carry on to the back nine because we did not each have our own bag. We were walking the course! There was no pace of play issue! The girls had their own clubs, however we were just carrying them. It was an unbelievable display of lack of customer service skills exhibited from this "off-duty" ranger.

The management is overbearing and rude. The guy is a real class act.

Love to golf 18 at this par 3 walking course. It's always in great condition, people are friendly, and it's very pretty. The second 9 has a lot of water, and I only lost one ball.

Cozy little par 3 tucked away in a neighborhood (you do have to stop at the entry gate and say you are golfing and get a parking pass). Friendly pro shop, reasonable prices for non residents. The first hole is a bit hidden across the street a fair ways away (no pun intended) but locals helped get us to the right place (might want to sign that a bit better). No water on the front 9 but we'll you are in a desert. (Only played front 9)
