I initially got my windshield repaired by an inexperienced Safelite technician (with less than 6 months). After the initial repair, I was very concerned because there was a dimple on the windshield where the repair work had taken place. I thought to myself, but still wasn't sure at that point, shouldn't the resin completely fill in that chip/crack? I was worried that dirt/debris could get trapped in it when the next time my windshield wiper was activated, but worse yet, that dimple could potentially propagate future cracks in the coming winter. Unsatisfied and concerned, I called Safelite to lodge my complaint about the poor workmanship that was done. A few days later, Safelite sent its most experienced technician, James Motzkus, with 30+ years of experience. He completely fixed the issue. It was like magic! The reason for my high rating is because of how responsive Safelite was to my concern.

The windshield replacement was done professionally, in about 2 hours time frame which is amazing and the whole process was so smooth.Big thanks to Danielle for the precision and professional work, the new windshield was installed by Danielle perfectly with no gaps or whatsoever, The camera calibration was perfect as well.The car was so clean after the windshield replacement that it looks like nothing happened.Thanks again for the great job.

Scheduled through state farm. Received work order and confirmation email and text. Waited 4 hrs nobody showed up. Finally got through to real person.... we dont know what happened, we can schedule you for tomorrow. Didnt seem concerned no sorry for that. Reschedule... No thanks, went with a different company, a local company. Will make sure my friends on next door and facebook know Safelite doesnt care. Ignore the fancy commercials people just BS.

My technician dropped tools on my hood and dented it and then tried to hide it by covering it up with primer/adhesive. Rene, the manager has been non-responsive after asking me to get a quote from a body shop. When Rene does choose to answer me, he states he has not heard anything back from corporate. This has been going on for several weeks now.

I had an appointment at 2pm to replace my windshield, which also required recalibration. They said it might take up to 3 hrs. I dropped the car off early and they got it right in. By 5:20p I hadn't heard anything from them, even though prior to the appt I was deluged with reminders. After they got the car in, the communication stopped. I tried calling but they stop answering phones after 5pm. I grabbed my wife and we ran down there. Nothing had been said about leaving the car overnight. When we pulled up, there was our car in the parking lot, ready to go. I walked in and asked why I hadn't been called since it was obviously ready. The woman behind the desk had no answer except that it was the technician's job to call the customer. I asked how long it had been ready. She had no idea. To me this is unacceptable. Next time I need auto glass repair or replacement, I will be going anywhere other than Safelight, that's for sure.

Worst experience with Safelite AutoGlass when I needed to replace the windshield glass for model Y. First, they replaced it with the after market glass which not being precisely fitted so there was a lot of wind noise. I am not happy with it and asked them to replaced with Tesla glass instead. They scheduled me back but then at the wrong office. Another bad thing is you have to place your car at their store for a full day.

While driving to California to attend a family event, our side window was shattered on Interstate 10. We drove Tia Safelite in Surprise, AZ but they had to order the glass from another warehouse. Rather than wait, we rented a car and continued on our trip. When we returned a few days later our car was waiting for us. We return to another Safelite weeks later for warranty work.We highly recommend Safelite.

Super amazing! They took a horrific experience I had with Shaka Auto Glass and made the whole situation less stressful. I still lost money but at least Safelight fixed the problem.

Worst experience I have ever had getting my windshield replaced. I will never use Safelite again. Plus the fact that they are owned by insurance an insurance company doesn't help!! I waited two weeks for an appointment. The day of, I got a call saying they had t got the windshield in yet because "the guys didn't order it on time" per the front desk. So made an appointment for the following week. I sat there for four hours for the tech to tell me they couldn't calibrate my windshield. He suggested we let the glue dry a week and maybe it was a defective windshield. So I made an appointment for the following Friday. I walk in just for the tech to come tell me the new one didn't come in but he would try to adjust the current one. Awhile later, he came out to the lobby. He then said he felt the camera wasn't positioned right on the windshield. So I had to come back again when they got the other new windshield. I have been in AZ for 32 years. I probably have to replace my windshield every 1-2 years due to rocks and debris on the roads here in Phoenix hitting my windshield. I am now here for the third time and I've been waiting almost 3 hours. The tech came out to tell me it passed the test that the last windshield didn't but the software they use in the second test is running slow. At this point, I don't care anymore!! I just want to take it somewhere else. I've only used Safelite one other time about 2 years ago at a different location as d they claimed to have calibration issues that time also. I will never use Safelite again and I will also tell everyone I know and work with about this experience!!!

Time- made an appointment at 930 after we were told our car needed to come to the shop for replacement windshield- Called to find out they hadn't even started it, at 3 pm they told us it would be 1.5 hours. Didn't get our car back until 430pm. Waited in the lobby for 10 minutes before we could even get the keys to our car because nobody was around. Why make an appointment if your keeping the car all day for a job that took 1.5 hours once they got to it!!! Thankfully we had a ride that day however we had to keep our ride on call basically all day because well they kept our car all day... Would not use again.

I took my bmw x3 for windshield replaced and they destroyed the side paneling and the bottom rubber and they didn't glue correctly the rear wiew mirror is a big bubble with glue. That you can see it for outside , poor customer services the lady from the office was rude and she tried to not fix they mistake. Now I need deal with them the glue issue .
