The summer of 2023 we shopped around for window replacements, as the seals on several of ours were failing. Lowe's gave us the best price for what we determined would be good quality Pella windows. We paid the price--$42,000 for 42 windows. The windows were ordered and eventually arrived. When the installers came, however, we discovered were missing 2 windows, a custom half-round didn't fit, and there were holes in 4 screens. The installers were not from Lowe's; they subcontract to Lowe's, so they couldn't solve the problems. We called the salesman. Oh, he doesn't follow through with the customers if they have problems; we had to call a Lowe's Customer Support Center. The Support Center sent someone out a few weeks later to check the windows and the screens. They could not, as it turned out, make the right size for the half-round. But the other two additional windows were ordered, as well as (supposedly) the 4 replacement screens. Windows and 2 screens arrived and were installed. However, the automatic lock on one window was not installed correctly, so a third time the installer came out. We still have two screens with holes; never received the replacements. We are SO frustrated with Lowe's service. When the Anderson salesman came, he told us that one of the advantages of Anderson windows is that the installers are Anderson employees. We felt that the Anderson windows were higher quality than the Pella ones we bought from Lowe's, but the price was more than we felt we could afford. At this point, however, we're thinking the higher price may have been worth it.

Boston, Mass area consumer. Ordered and paid a good penny to have a NEW product delivered. The truck came AN HOUR AFTER the window of 11am-3pm, AND the product was damaged BEFORE it even left the Wilmington MA warehouse. WHY would you send me a product that you could visibly see was damaged. The box it was in was VISIBLY GASHED, and the damage is directly pushing into electrical components. I will go somewhere else after this.

Would give 0 if there was this option. Would never buy any major appliances from Lowes. Bought a wall oven and I was told by the salespeople the installation was included. When I received the oven on Friday (2/23/2024), the delivery team wouldn't install it. Called the service lane right away. The agent told me she scheduled an installation team to come the next day. Waited for the whole day the next day, but no one showed up. Called the service line Monday and I was notified we are out of the 48 returning period nothing Lowes could do and the installation is not their job. I need to find a local installation company to finish the work.

Purchased an appliance from Lowe's online. Product was installed despite a factory defect. Working with Lowe's Installation Service to get a replacement has been a nightmare. Had two installation technicians determine the product had a factory defect. Rather than take care of the issue directly due to them installing a defective appliance, Lowe's tried to pass us on the Bosch. I tried to argue that Lowe's should take care of the issue directly given they had knowingly installed a defective product, but Lowe's would not relent. After two months of dealing with Lowe's Installation service, they realized I had purchased a protection plan, and set us on another path. Lowe's protection plan service decided they needed to send a third technician, who immediately identified a factory defect and could not work on the appliance. Lowes then informed us that the protection plan does not kick in until after the manufacturer's warranty expires, and referred us to Bosch. Bosch sent out a fourth technician - one authorized to work on their product - as Lowe's had not sent out a manufacture authorized technician. The varying Lowe's departments do not know each other's operations - The left hand does not know what the right had does. It was also completely unreasonable for Lowe's to disclaim any responsibility for knowingly installing a defective appliance, then immediately passing the customer off to the manufacturer. Will not be dealing with Lowe's for appliances again.

Purchased a Generac generator through Lowe's because I thought it would be an easier install process. Sadly, I was incorrect and incurred additional expenses in the process with no satisfaction from Lowe's or Colonial Generators, the installer. Lowe's will no longer be getting my business.

I ordered some items order number 929343207. They never sent me an email giving me status and now they tell me they don't know what the status is. I have called customer support twice and they have not been able to resolve it. Because they say it a store issue, no it is a Lowes issue. I keep getting the run around and I still don't have my order and it has been two weeks. I need it know!! I would never order anything from Lowes again because they do not care about their customers. You cannot even talk with a manager. They say call the store. The issue is I order the items through Lowes Web site and they did not give me a choice to send the parts to my house. They forced me to pick a store so I picked one that was the closet. Now they tell me corp is not responsible I have to work with store. Why is that when I ordered them from Lowes, not the store. Just another way they can give you the run around and take no responsibility screw the customer. You cannot even call cooperate to log a complaint. Not a good way yo run a company . I recommend no one should buy anything from Lowes because they don't care about the customer!!!!!!!

Online shoppers beware! When you place an order with Lowe's they do not indicate whether or not it is a special order subject to 20% restocking fee. All you see is "Free and Easy Returns." You only find out when you show up at the store to return it that you have to pay the 20% restocking fee. Then they tell you that you should have read the return policy that special orders are charged a restocking fee. But how do you know you are placing a special order I asked, at that point the employee explained that when I placed my order which I chose to have shipped I should have checked to see if it was available for same day pick up. At that point I would have seen it was not so then I would have known it was a special order. Seriously? Of course Lowe's could simply indicate when the items are in your cart that they are special orders subject to restocking fee but then they could not make all that money on the returns. Be careful!

I (female) bought flooring and brought my measurements in. I spoke to an associate (male) who told me that I would need more than I had on my pallet because even based on my measurements, I would be short. 100% I second guessed myself as it was the first time I had done flooring and he was supposed to be the expert. Seeing that I didn't want to spend more he assured me that whatever I didn't use, as long as it wasn't opened, I could just bring back. I asked if he was sure and he again reiterated that they always take back unopened product. So I let him ring me up. After doing the entire downstairs, by myself, while juggling a full time job, school, and children, I was informed that they can't accept it passed 90 days. After telling them what the associate said, the manager said "I'll try and have a chat with him". So here I am stuck with flooring I don't need because a business chain just wants to upsell and gather revenue instead of actually caring about the customers. I've gone to Lowe's for a majority of home repairs in the past and have spent thousands, never again. Ladies, be careful and always bring a man with you so that you don't get swindled, apparently it's still very necessary.

Sept 2023 we ordered and paid for a generator and installation. Nov 2023 we inquied about the status and were told the installers said they were waiting on the permit. I went to our city permit office and there was no permit filed. We contacted Lowe's again and informed them of what we had learned. A few days later we were told they needed more pictures, and our point of contact came out and took more. A week or so later we had to send a picture to our point of contact. The installers finally called and gave us a date. Lowe's called and said they could not do that because Lowe's had not received approval for everything. On Jan 2, 2023 We called to tell them we wanted a full refund. Their response was 'someone is driving down from the city now to install'. They did arrive and the job is about half done. We have called several times since and were told Lowe's is waiting for the Generator super center to call them and schedule the final install. Lowe's keeps telling us (3x) that Wendy is not available to schedule the appointment and will be available the next day. It is Jan 22nd, 2024, we have freezing rain, near freezing temps, and no generator. We are not happy. We have used Lowe's for many years and they have always made things right, but recently there has been a change. This incident is too much. I might add, during this time frame, we recommended a friend to Robinson Air of Lawton OK and her generator is installed and all is well for her.

I called Lowe's in Surprise, az to get a end piece formica that I had purchased up in Prescott Arizona. I just wanted to buy and have a friend pick it up and it's turned into quite a project. Instead of them being able to purchase it and hold it for me I have to have a pro credit card to be able to purchase it which I don't want. And now have to go up on line to purchase it It's become very complicated. I would not recommend purchasing things from Lowe's long distance. Not a great new protocol for Lowe's. Really don't appreciate the pressure to buy a credit card is the only way to purchase and hold something at their store. Feels like a really bad policy.

Not sure who's running this store, but went in despite seeing 1.5 star reviews. Needed an adjustment, and service was atrocious. Morbidly obese sales manager nicknamed "Boston" was who I got stuck with. Has no concept of customer service, which sadly seems to be typical at this location. Went to Home Depot across the street and received great service..

My Item was a Lowes(Dishwasher) called the morning before and went to the store to see it in Person and shook hands for the installers to pick it up today for Installation; Horrible Installation Company (CRST Home Solutions), lied and said, "Lowes did not have my appliance and we have to reschedule until the middle of February because no open slots are available." When I called both the Installer, Customer Service, and Customer Service Supervisor were all passively rude and didn't care about my order nor business and hung up. Lowes was no better keeping my on the line for over an hour and 38mins to tell me that they can't help it if the Installers want to reschedule; so I cancelled my order of $900+ Installation costs of $200+ and will do business elsewhere. I'm very disappointed in how Lowes handled the situation and didn't even offer to make anything right; no offer of an upgrade, no offer to pay for everything themselves for the Major inconvenience and lack of promises... nothing. I had to go out of my way as to drive there to get my refund issued because of how much I was getting "pushed around" and no one being respectful enough to take my call. Horrible company; don't let Lowes use CRST Home Solutions Installation company for your appliances. You'd have better chances getting exceptional services elsewhere; even if it required More Money... at least then, you'll get what you'd paid for

Please believe these reviews before you make any big purchases from Lowe's. If you end up needing help, there is no help to be found. They do not care. We picked cabinets from Lowe's to use in our kitchen in October 2023. The cabinets arrived and they were not what we paid for. They were all wrong. The heights of the cabinets were different and there was no way to make them work. We asked for help to fix the problem. We sent a spreadsheet of the problems. We could not get help. No one would answer our questions as to how these errors would be fixed. In the end, we returned the cabinets and we are still trying to get our money back.

Lowe's started screwing Active Duty Military and Veterans with their new pro program which eliminates the discount. Shame on you Lowe's! You act like you support Veteran groups but you do nothing of the sort. You HAD a good program but now your just like every other retailer; just chasing money and pretending to actually care.

Bought three bath faucets at Lowe's and needed to return them as they did not work with my sink design. They would not accept the return because it was just over 90 days since I had purchased them. They still stock the same faucets in their plumbing section. My boxes were unopened, the clerk was less than helpful and the manager I spoke with was worthless. No more Lowes for me m, I'm sticking with Home Depot, their prices are typically better anyways. They deserve zero stars.
