First time used the service in Surprise, AZ, for oil change. All went smoothly, in and out in 60 min. Waiting room was clean, counter person well spoken, water fountain was available, coffee machine was in active.
Yes I would take my vehicle there again.

Will never be back. I’ve been in 3x!
Went in for new brakes & needing a new serpentine belt.
$500+ later
Left and the next day, brakes were grinding. Had to take it back, a piece of metal was scraping on the NEW rotors. Cool, fixed
Week later, brakes smelled like it was burning , again had to go back & found out the wrong serpentine belt was added. Had to leave my vehicle to have it changed.
Go home and later that evening I hear SCRAPING coming from the bottom of my car. Get under to see this giant piece just dragging on the ground. With fluid leaking. Had to come back for a 3RD TIME.
Rick cut me off and asked for my keys without letting me finish my sentence.
Rick stated his techs shouldn’t have taken this off to fix the belt issue.
Said he’ll fix it, came back to tell me i hit something and that it just “fell off” and the bolts were rusted. But never ever had an issue! My car sat at home from the time I left the brake masters until Monday morning (due to them being closed Sunday!)
And here I am writing this, and the belt issue is STILL an issue.
Absolutely avoid this place!
It’s been one thing after another.

Ripped me off charged 150 to remove bolt from caliper and put washer on then re tighten bolt. 20 minute job

Scheduling an appointment online was easy and staff was friendly. I only waited about 30 minutes for my oil change, tire rotation, and air filter replacement. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with brake masters!

I came into this location because it was close to home and people said it was good. Instant regret. I just came for an oil change, after moving and making the drive cross country I figured I would need an airfilter. I was offered an tire roation and figured why not, dont have to go somewhere else. Instead of informing me that they were having issues getting the lug nuts off they break em. So thats another 150 bucks. 150 I dont have to just be spending because some tech decided instead of doing the right thing and not forcing it which anyone knows will lead to most likely breaking... breaking my lugs and ultimately have to pay 150 extra. Feels like a petty sexist tactic to make a quick 150. Cause I could have taken it to the last people and they could have dealt with it on them and not cost me and extra 150 but your techs made that decision for me. Now I get to go to Discount Tire and hope I get some sort of compensation... cause after moving cross country, that money I cannot spare.

Went for an oil change and an air filter replacement. Had to go to another mechanic for another problem a week later. My air filter was replaced but they didn't lock it into place so it was doing nothing. He did a full inspection and my oil was black as diesel. Returned to Brake Masters and was told that it wasn't black, it happens to high mileage cars and generally treated me like I was stupid. I was married to a mechanic, had just left a Master mechanic that used to work for Chrysler (which my car is) and my future son in law is also a mechanic and saw the oil. I've gone here for close to 10 years but after today won't be back.
