Don't even bother going here. Worst shop by far ran by morons had a complete rebuild done and when a get the car back a week later the driveshaft fell out while diving the reason is because these idiots didn't even properly torque the bolts on my driveshaft and it unbolted while driving. The rebuild quality is terrible the transmission they rebuilt transmission slips every time I drive. This place is ran by children who cannot fix vehicles your better off lighting 4 grand on fire than paying this idiots

Sad. Lied, said he put a used transmission in, continued to adjust car on occasion until his 30 fay warranty was up. Later looked at receipt, had put on receipt he had replaced a torque converter only! Tricked me out of about $3000! Back to square one! Mercedes Authorized dealer let me know he had lied. Don't go there!

Took my vehicle to AAMCO when my car wouldn’t accelerate. Ron was very friendly and provided me updates on the status of my car’s diagnosis. He explained exactly what was wrong with the car and advised me on what to do to resolve the issues. I would definitely recommend this AAMCO location to others and would take the car back.

Worst place to take your car! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! They had our car for 9 weeks! We just brought it to willheim and found out that the transmission is shot, leaking fluid like a faucet, and rags were stuffed under the crossbeam to hide the fluid that was leaking! Proving they knew it was still leaking when they gave it back to us! We spent $4100 on nothing except a waste of time and a major headache!

Absolutely the worst place to bring your car! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! They had our car for 9 weeks , the main tech was rude, and they were supposed to rebuild our transmission but after taking it to willheim because we started having more issues they informed us that rags were stuffed under the transmission to try to stop leaking which there shouldn't have been if it was just rebuilt! They were unprofessional and honestly one guy looked like an obvious meth addict! The absolute worst mistake we ever made was taking our car to that shit hole! Please save yourself the stress and find somewhere else to go!

Our car was towed here by another mechanic that could not work on transmission. We were told it would be $800 in labor to just diagnose the transmission then likely $2,400 to $4,800 to repair the issue. We quickly declined and had our car moved to another mechanic that discovered the problem for a fraction of the total cost including the repair needed. Waste of time and would not recommend.

Please don't make the same mistake I did and bring your car here. They will lie to you for months while they hold your car hostage. Stay far away from here or you will absolutely regret it 1000%

We had repairs done to our Custom Van between 3/13 and 3/24 of this year and had the transmission serviced at the same time. We were told that the transmission looked great, and that there was no indication of any problems, i.e. metal shavings in the filter. Prior to picking the van up we were told that there had been an accident while the van was being lowered from the hoist, and that the drivers door was mangled. We were assured that it would be fixed, and that a new door was already at the body shop. Keep in mind that the door was mangled to to point where it would not reliably stay shut, and the automatic window was hesitating and making horrible noises. I have called nearly weekly, and have been given updates, the door is prepped and ready for paint, and the door is in paint, etc. We had a specific timeline to complete the repairs, since we snowbird, and have obligations in Washington State. We had intended to leave Arizona on 5/2, but on 4/26 when I called, I was told that the owner, Ron, had checked on the door and that nothing had been done to the door since he had dropped it of. We stupidly did not realize that Ron was not going through his insurance company to fix our door, and we expressed our disappointment in the process so far. Ron told us that he had found another body shop that could get the job done by 4/28, and that he assured us his crew would put the door, hopefully complete with graphics, on the van before our leaving date. I had been previously asked to send photos of the graphics to Ron, and assumed that they had already been ordered, but during the 4/28 conversation I was asked to take the Van to the graphics shop and let them take pictures of the van. I made the 35 mile round trip to the Graphics shop, just to find out that they knew nothing about the job. On Friday afternoon 4/28 I was informed that the door was finished, and that if we brought the van to the shop on Monday morning 5/1, it would take only a couple hours to get the door on and the window and locks to where they worked properly. When we dropped the van off on Monday morning, we expressed our concern that the door was not going to match the paint color of our 30 year old van, and that we did not want it to look like a patchwork quilt. During that conversation, Ron told us "WE" could possible take it to a shop and have the rest of the van "buffed" out, so that it was not so obvious that the door had been replaced. Ron proceeded to make, what we felt, was a veiled threat, that there was a good possibility that our van (with 80K original miles) would likely need a transmission soon if we insisted on driving it back and forth from Arizona to Washington State. He told us that these vans were never intended to do that kind of traveling, and that they put very light duty transmissions in these vans. Now we are between a rock and a hard place. We are in our mid to late 70's and now feel like if we make a fuss, that our transmission may be sabotaged. We feel like we are alone and being threatened to accept whatever the outcome. Yes, this is a 1996 Chevrolet Conversion Van, but we looked hard to find a high top van with low mileage, and since the paint was good and the van was clean and had a good carfax, we paid a premium price for it. We have been assured the graphics will be done yesterday, and then today, but? I am going to contact my own insurance company and let them know what is happening so that we can feel we have covered our own backs, but we are truly fearful that if we make waves, it will be at the expense of a new transmission.

Got a filter set from Amazon, had done about 5 times before for different vehicles, and found one of the two filters was bad. Took it ot Aamco, expecting the worst, the guy behind the counter( I believe the owner), was like it is a possibility, but lets start simple first. The first day called to let me know they diagnosed, need permission to proceed with the transmission service, and see if that fixes it. Called later that day to say it is working as should and looks good ?. We did discuss that it still needs to be run for a while to make sure, but they have definitely earned my trust.

Great group of people, as fast as can be in the times we live in. Very kind and informative about what is going on with your vehicle. Best of all they gave me a fair price, broke down the price of each repair and the total. Then gave me the option on which route I wanted to go. They weren't pushy or judgemental. Thanks again. I will definitely come back and bring more business!
