I signed up for Orbitel TV and internet. Nearest appointment was in two weeks. Today they did the install at about 10:00 am. By Noon the system stopped working. Tech support person over the phone guided me through some procedures, but was not able to resolve the problem. Now I have to wait two more days for a technician to come back to fix the problem. Needless to say, I am not happy with the quality of their service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

I stopped in to get info on Internet service and they wrote it out for me. No brochures to give to the customer??? The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.Installation was scheduled for the following week and Larry The Cable Guy (yes, his name really is Larry) was early and knocked it out in a short period of time. He was extremely friendly and personable and a pleasure to deal with. When's the last time you had a cable service employee described in that manner?Service was active in a matter of minutes and the connection was rock solid. With my fingers crossed for continued good speeds I cancelled service with my prior provider.

Terrible service!!! TV stations scrambled poor service! Would like rebate on monthly payments for service so bad you cant even watch a show!

On the basis of two years' experience, this is the worst cable service we've ever had. Fortunately, Cox has finally arrived in our neck of the woods and we won't have to put up with these poor people any more. Bye bye.

The gal's in the office were wonderful. We had to turn off services and take equipment back for my Mother in law as we just lost my father in law. The girls in the office off of Dobson and Riggs were so very sweet and helped us with the process. Thank you Orbitel for having amazing employees that show how much your company cares.

Stay away from this crooked company and their immature employees. I just found out they have been charging me for cable that the HOA also charges me for. When I called to ask, they told me it was my fault for not catching it sooner. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on.

We've have been a 5 year snow bird customer of Orbitel. Prior to this year they've been a 4 to 5 star rating for us. This snow bird year 2022/2023 the internet and streaming was terrible. Streaming on Netflix and Prime was often intermittent. Browsing on the internet was the same. Speed checks during these intermittent occurrences were anywhere from 19mps to 30mps on three different devices. Orbitel speed check never worked...paying for 100mps. Rated Orbitel 2 stars because a tech did come out and change the router said the Orbitel servers more than likely had issues. Whatever is going on with Orbitel this time around has not been fixed. If Cox is ready to go next snow bird year will probably give them a try.

I can't believe I am leaving a 5 star review for a cable company! My latest experience cannot be ignored though. Received a email from Orbitel about my bill, as I was paying my set rate and it apparently went up a couple of months ago. I wasn't even checking it because I thought they said it was for 2 years and it had only been 16 months. Shockingly, I was offered a price $10 LOWER, but I told them my bill was all messed up because they were carrying over $20 since May. So she told me she would fix that and start the new rate in October. I looked at my bill 5 minutes later and it was done. Yes, I know they will jack it up sooner or later but this was such a pleasant experience, I had to leave this review and thank Sierra Wood. She was the best rep I ever had (and there have been many). Keep up the good work :)

This was one of those "service" experiences for which I felt compelled to go to Yelp and leave a review. Orbitel has clearly subcontracted their technical support services. Four or five years ago, I could call their number and speak to a person who, even if a bit condescending, knew approximately where my router configuration was located and what was going on in their data center in general. This kind of understanding leads to better customer service. Then came yesterday. I changed service type so the technician came right out. He was friendly. After reconnecting my two TVs and phone, I said I would do my laptop. Having worked in technology for decades, one inalienable truth is that consistent protocols are critical for technical support success. Of course, theirs were wildly inconsistent, which meant I couldn't troubleshoot the problem myself. First call, he talked and talked, said he would create a ticket, and didn't even think to explain anything about the ticket. Like, "Why are you creating a ticket?" I had to ask him. Then when, of course, nobody called back, I called their main tech support number. She knew even less but directed me to a number that ended up being one of those screaming commercials for whatever. I think on purpose but maybe not. My final call was to an extremely condescending "supervisor," who also read line-by-line from their playbook. Unbelievably bad. I'm considering switching to Century Link just because of this one experience.

Terrible service. I am paying for 150 Mps, but only getting 30 to 35. I get multiple internet interruptions daily while streaming video. I can't wait for another provider to enter our community, (Sun Lakes). Currently Orbitel is the ONLY provider due to terrible contract with our HOA. At one time it sounded like Cox was going to offer service in the community, but that has not happened as of yet. In speaking to customer support the showed that the system lost connection to our home 44 times in the last 24 hours.

The top brass hide behind their phones. I've been waiting for a $30-50 credit on my account for about 4 months. One thing they do excel in is Customer DIS-service, and use of the word "no."We can't wait for a provider to enter Maricopa City with fibre optic.

I have been a loyal customer through 16 years of unbroken service. Are they perfect? No, but is any Internet Service? Overall, there is none better in their service area.
