Reasonably well-run store. Normally clean & tidy. Usually understaffed, never anyone tending the photo department. Pharmacy is also well-run and attentive although typically long-lines during snow bird season.

This is my local Walgreens, and I have been there several times. It's a very nice store with friendly employees. They have a huge variety of merchandise too, and lots of good sales. Yesterday, my daughter and I brought my infant grandson to get his passport photo done, which was a fun experience . We weren't sure how baby passport photos are taken, and employee Greg was extremely helpful. He took a photo with my daughter holding him and then he removed her image (very interesting process- see photos) I really appreciated Greg's patience and kindness through the photo process.

It was nice and clean. We needed help in finding an item and and the lady from cosmetics was very helpful. When we checked out, even though we are 89 and 81 years old, they did not give us the senior discount that was advertised for today. They said you had to ask for it. To me that was very irritating.

This is the best pharmacy I have been to in the Sun City area. The pharmacy staff have great communication and customer service skills. The pharmacists are usually easy to get ahold of for questions. I feel taken care of, thank you Walgreens pharmacy staff, you are appreciated ?

I purchased knee support sleeves at this Walgreens, but found that they were not snug enough to give the support I needed. There was a buy one get, one half off, sale so the total price was $38.94. Six days later, I went back to return them to get a refund. I was told that in order to get a refund I had to present my driver’s license for them to scan into their system. I couldn’t believe it. If I was returning some expensive durable medical equipment, I might not have been so unpleasantly surprised; but could not understand why they needed to scan my personal information into their system for a refund of less than $40. Since I am on a fixed income, I could not afford to let them keep my money so I had to give them my driver’s license. I could see that my name, address and date of birth was retained in their system. I felt that my privacy had been violated. In addition, I felt that I was being set up for possible identity theft since so many companies have had their computer systems hacked; allowing hackers to gain access to customers personal information. In theory, a hacker could use the personal information that I was forced to allow them to scan in and go on the dark web and use it to find my social security number, too. Walgreens is creating another avenue for hackers to steal customers identity. I will never shop, nor fill any prescriptions, at any Walgreens again. After what occurred both of my sisters will stop filling their rather expensive prescriptions there. I have never, in over 60 years, been asked to present my driver’s license to get a refund! It made me feel like I was being treated like a criminal. What an insult, especially for such a small amount.

All the employees definitely need a good dose of customer service training. They are NOT friendly at all, and they act like the customers are a nuisance.

I’ve been to this location for a while since it’s close for convenience and every time I go I regret it. The staff is very rude and nasty. Not a pleasant experience any of the times I’ve been. Will not be returning and will be reporting their customer service. Brittany the cashier was very rude to me when I had an issue with my card.

This is my favorite Walgreen's location, I have one closer, but I choose to do my lite shopping at this one. When I walk in, a staff member always says "Welcome to Walgreen's" and I am always greeted again by another staff member at some point. Recently I was looking at make up, and a young gentleman "Caleb" helped me, he was so kind and patient. Who would of thought he would want to help me with make up. Lol. Anyways, I found what I was looking for and I will continue to shop here for my make up. Thank you for carrying NYX products!!

All Walgreens trash you as though they don't need your business. The Walgreens at 99th Ave and Greenway is especially bad with their customer service skills. Their primary customer consists of senior citizens who live in Sun City. You would think they would have a focus on great customer service for senior citizens. But, no, that is NOT the case. I'm not yet a senior citizen and when I become one, I will not go to Walgreens. The lead pharmacist at this store is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. He interrupts when you are talking and talks over so loudly that there is no way to get through to him. He implied that what I was telling him was absolutely wrong. I explained to him that I have worked at a pharmaceutical company so I understand how pharmacy coverage works. He said, "I don't care about that. What you are saying is wrong. Where did you get mid-information, on the Internet?" He then said "I see you wrote a review about me on Google reviews. You are going to remove that, right?" I told him "'Absolutely not!" He didn't take the information I put in my review on Google and learn from it at all. The primary store manager phoned me. He was very nice and I expressed my concerns. The pharmacist told me I should use a different pharmacy or at least a different Walgreens. I told him I have Express Scripts and I am forced to use Walgreens. He said "Untrue! You can use any pharmacy. I was right! I have to use Walgreens. I'm getting ready to change Healthcare plans and hopefully I won't have to use Walgreens! There is a Walgreens at 32nd Street and Cactus. I lived near that one and used it for a year until I moved. That is an outstanding pharmacy and the lead pharmacist, Sue, does an outstanding job. If you need to use Walgreens, you should avoid the one at 99th Ave and Greenway. No one needs to have a pharmacy so rude that you can't count on them. It's rough enough that you are sick and need help from your pharmacy! Try your best to avoid this specific one. Also, they are only open 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, everyone goes to lunch at the same time, and they don't have a drive through!

Very rude personnel at the pharmacy. They are not willing to help the customer. Unrealistic hours of operation.

This Walgreens location, like many in the area, is in a shopping center where the owners do not clean. There is frequently spills and trash at the entrance and the parking lot as well. I can't fault them for the numerous homeless that camp out and sometimes aggressively ask for money. That is a political issue. No matter how empty the store and pharmacy are, you will have a substantial wait. I feel that The pharmacists don't make a concerted effort to get in touch with doctors when a new prescription is needed. Items in the store are priced a bit high but usually you get store coupons to help with that. Basically, that is what keeps me coming back. Usually the employees are really nice.
