A couple of weeks ago we ordered a Stranger Things themed cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake decorator talked to me and clarified what I wanted and was very courteous and helpful. We picked it up last week and it look AMAZING!! My daughter was so excited when she saw it! Thank you so much for putting so much care into the cake!

My Entire work experience was dependent on customer service. This did not exist this morning at this store. Too busy talking to each other than assisting. I had to interrupt to get attention and then it was "I don't know it's not my job".
Who's job is it to assist their customers? Find someone who can help, or is it more important to socialize. Not talking about a young person, this interaction was with a very mature aged individual.
Took my business elsewhere.

First of all, I want to start out by saying that I used to work for a Safeway store for eight years and we were all about customer service and being pleasant and helpful. My experience yesterday approaching the meat department asking for some of the chicken breast that were on the digital deal for $.97 a pound, the kid walked up to the counter didn’t even say hi. Can I help you or anything else and just looked at me with a scowl on his face and I just asked if I could have 3 pounds of the chicken breast he gave it to me I said thank you very much and he just walked off , I blew that off to having a bad day. Then I get to the cashier not one word to me. I greeted him not one word and then when he handed me my receipt, I said thank you very much, sir. Not one word very disappointed. I don’t think that I will be shopping at the store ever again

I have been using the drive up and go app, and the last few times have just been frustrating. Substitutes for products they have on the shelf or you order meat at the larger packing and if they don’t have it in that size they cancel it, but they have 2 smalls that equal the same amount. Then I get fruit bowls that are expired in the next day. I use this app when I have many things to juggle, but I am no longer recommending and plan to stop using it.

this place is ghetto, not because of the customers but 100% because of the workers. godforbid you need them to do their job because they wont. management is horrible, doesnt care about their food rotting, just put more new food out on top of the rotting food!

I've been to super markets all over Phoenix area, but this Safeway is more expensive than any of them. And don't give me that business about supply chains and inflation, it's more expensive and everyone knows and I avoid going there whenever possible. To take advantage of the elderly I find despicable.

I had the best experience this whole weekend from the multiple cakes I orders for my daughters 2nd birthday. I when in on Friday to speak to the decorator regarding my order and hoping she could make some changes to the cakes on display , she was amazing listened to all my ideas looked at my Pinterest and the cakes came out amazing looks like a $100 cake , everyone asked me where it came from and the taste was great. I order 3 cakes total and 18 cupcakes and they were all a hit tasted and looked amazing . I will always order from here for all my events and will recommend them . The decorators name is Jess and she is amazing !!!

I needed a couple of steaks cut from their deli. Zero not only cut me two thick beautiful cuts of Ribeye, he had asked me several questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend using Zero as your butcher when you're shopping at the Del Webb/Bell Safeway.

The deli person seemed to be lacking experience and not particularly friendly. Our cashier was awesome!
