Still don't understand why they refuse to drop off packages to street addresses....they have a mailing delivery truck....and it's literally part of their job. I respect the fact that they do the best they can even though they always seem understaffed, but Somerton has grown so much in the last few years. So I don't understand why they always seem to have a reason to not be able to deliver to LOCAL street addresses, and return the package as "Insufficient Address". 1. I can look up my address on google maps and can easily locate it. 2. Even when calling the vendors customer support they explain they are able to locate the address on their side as well.....so what is going on really?
Let me find out y'all just being lazy and I gotta go full Karen and call some higher-up.
P.S. pls don't throw away my mail because I decided to vocalize my frustration about your lack of effort to deliver to street addresses.

If the packages arrive at the PO box, they still do not have your last name because they will return them. ??? What's wrong with them, how do they take that dare? What bad service from the person who does this, as they returned them, now my packages and money are lost???. My SHEIN packages were stolen, they appear as delivered, they tell me that they returned them, it is more than two months old and they have not refunded my money, more than $700, can someone guide me how to open a case with the police?

Although I don’t agree with their hours. I was able to get here around noon, only one person was helping people at the counter but he did such a good job he handled about 5 people at once. Made it quick for all of us. Good vibes he was pretty chill

UPDATE: All (now 3) of my packages were IMMEDIATELY returned to sender. Tried to call this location and no one answers. F this place.I haven't even fully moved to Somerton yet and I'm already extremely disappointed in how mail is handled. I've had two packages routed to this location but they are closed. Why can't you just deliver to my house?!

My favorite Post office! The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Some more than others, however I have always received quality assistance.They do the best they can with the 1 or 2 employees they staff.Armando is very quick, helpful and moves the line of people as quickly as possible. In my opinion he should be the Post Master. He is always friendly and greets everyone kindly.I've only seen the Post Master once or twice in all the years I have been going to Somerton Post Office. He is the second Post Master in the past 20 years. Unlike the previous PM he does not step in to assist his staff when lines are to the door.The couple of times I have seen him walk behind the counter he has a grouchy look on his face, does not greet the customers, just very unfriendly. He looks like he would rather be elsewhere.Perhaps he doesn't want to be there. If that's the case grant his wish and move him out.My vote is for Armando to be promoted to Post Master.

Some employees are nice some are not, why isn’t it open on Saturday to be able to get packages, why do we always have to get yellow slips to get our packages, why can’t they leave them in the key boxes, why can’t we just get our mail delivered to our house, this post office is the worst to get your packages, it’s always a mission to get them, I really dislike this post office service!

The staff here are helpful and efficient, but the building itself is small and the outside is not very well maintained. The parking spaces are also small and parking here is always a hassle.
