I RECOMMEND YOU GO TO ANOTHER PHARMACY FOR YOUR NEEDS. I rarely write these, but this has been the worst pharmacy AND STORE experience I've had. Currently on hold for 57:52 and still holding. After being on hold in the pharmacy for 28 minutes, I called the main number to ask if the store clerk could help me to know, if the pharmacy was even looking at their phone. IDK, I'd, as employee who takes ownership of her job, may take a peek and at least let the customer know how things were going over there. And if pharmacy was not even looking at the blinking hold light on the phone, I wasn't going to hold any longer and would have thanked her for her help. But I didn't have time to finish my sentence before she transferred me to the same pharmacy hold music that I was already listening to on my other phone. I called back hoping this time to finish my sentence. Clerk didn't answer but directly transferred me to the hold music in pharmacy (pretty sure she recognized my caller id number). This rudeness didn't sit well with me. You're not associated with the pharmacy and can't/won't help? Ok, tell me. But. that. no. I called back with the intent to request to speak to a manager, was immediately transferred to pharmacy hold music 2 more times. I called back, and the clerk just hung up on me without a word. I called back and clerk answered. I requested to speak to the manager. She said, "Sure", then there was silence. I wasn't convinced I hadn't been hung up on again. Spoke to the manager about the unsatisfactory customer service and rude behavior. No resolution. She just soothed me, the customer by listening. Job done, I guess. Now after 1:11:48 on hold with pharmacy, I'm hanging up and will take my business elsewhere.

Whoever owns this Walgreens, you need to hire more people. Been on hold for 20 min without even talking to somebody to find out why my medication has been delayed for the last two weeks... It's insulin, not something crazy complicated or exotic. If your pharmacy staff is too busy to pick up the phone after 20 minutes, you don't have enough staff.
Update: After 35 minutes of being put on hold without talking to a single person, I found a smaller pharmacy in the area. If your insurance covers it, go to Beewell Pharmacy. Nice folks and they picked up the phone within a couple minutes. I'm transferring ALL of my prescriptions to Beewell Pharmacy now because the corporate monster that is Walgreens has failed me for the last time.

Pharmacy does the best they can with ALWAYS being kept so very busy. The other store staff is ALWAYS extra effort in helping with a genuine smile.

As I go to the drive through to pick up my medication, the older lady who was pharmacy tech was not only rude but had no customer service or care in the world.
I pick up my meds every two weeks from this Walgreens and today the tech told me my insurance rejected, after I year of being using this insurance, and all of a sudden they are no long contracted with my insurance, and I never took the time to inform me.
So of course the next question is why. And no information was giving other than we are not contracted with the insurance. I’m appalled at how unhelpful they were and rather had me pay for my prescription. They would not help me figure out this issue, instead they turned off the lights and close the gates. I’m grateful this is not a life saving medication. So please be mindful of coming here. They really don’t care.

Impossible to get prescriptions refilled as they continue to pick up the phone and put you on hold without speaking. You have to go and either wait in the line wrapped around the building or stand in the line wrapped throughout the store just to request the refill. This is by far the worst Walgreens pharmacy I've ever been to. I have never had this experience at other locations.

This is also a place that I come to get many things I need in a hurry. They have great hours of operation. I also got my covid shots here. The staff is very professional and courteous.

Typical Walgreens layout with the pharmacy located in the rear of the store. They have a drive thru, but the last time I visited, it was faster inside.

Here we go again, allergy season & my usual Pharmacy has been out of 24 hour Claritin D. Walgreens to the rescue. Plenty of parking and right off of Fry or Coronado, this place is within walking distance of grocery store, food venues, and many more. This location is always clean and well organized. You can also get passport photos done here. Staff is friendly.

Better communication would be deeply appreciated. Yesterday, Friday, during my 2-week post-surgery follow up appointment my doc prescribed a refill pain RX. Walgreens kept saying they'll let me know when it is ready. Never heard back Friday. The auto service twice reported that it was pending and they would notify when it was ready. --Well today, Saturday, they said they can't get it in stock until next week. --Cant transfer anywhere either. --The surgeon's answering svc said the on call doc said he can't prescribe it to me. --The virtual visit app doctor said ditto. --The Urgent Care clinic just told me ditto. Walgreens, simple communication to let me know that you did not have it in stock on Friday would have been great.

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. The wait times are pretty long (even at the drive-thru) and when I dropped off my prescription I was told they’d call me when it was ready. It took me until I got all the way back home to realize they never asked me for a phone number and I’d never used this pharmacy before. So I called back a few hours later and was put on hold twice before a LOVELY woman answered the line and was a pure delight to speak with. She professionally and quickly resolved the issue and gave me a real-time estimate of when I could head over to pick up the prescription. Most of the reviews on here are horrible and I can definitely see why, but in this case I’m satisfied with the service I received and can understand an innocent human error.
