Normally I am very happy with Sierra Toyota. I have been taking my car there regularly for the last 6 years. However, my last visit there was very, very disappointing and dangerous. On 10/30/2023 I took my 2016 Rav/4 for it's 30,000 mile service and new tires. It was there and then that the service technician did not install the oil filter correctly. It was a week, two quarts of oil and 200 miles later that I became aware of this probable dangerous situation. Luckily a good Samaritan alerted me to the leak. And I was lucky that it was still early enough to make it to the nearest Napa store to get oil (the oil pressure alert light never came on). Of course the service department did correct the problem at no cost. Regardless, it was nerve racking and it was very scary! Also, before I handed over the car to them, on 10/30/2023, I had asked them to check the windshield wipers and replace as needed. They did not check the rear wiper, and it is still old and useless.Services: Tires

I have 2013 RAV4 and they have taken good care of me for regular maintenance and I just got tires at a very good price. The place is large and very clean, so waiting for your car (if you choose to do so) is pleasant.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

I have purchased six Toyota vehicles from this dealership over the past 18 years and have obviously been happy with Sierra Toyota. My most recent service, however, was unsatisfactory. I emailed the salesman with whom I have used over the years and told him the details. He apologized and sent my email to his sales manager and also the service manager. Since this was the first problem I have experienced with them I was hoping the service manager would contact me with an explanation and maybe even arrange for expedited fix of the issue (multimedia system rebooting constantly. Everything seems great and yet the “maintenance needed” device light was not turned off even though it was stated to me that is was. Kind of irritating. Now I have to call and go back. We had our 15k scheduled maintenance done recently and had seat covers installed.Jared and his service technicians did a great job installing the new seat covers.We will be seeing them again soon to have other items installed.

My RAV4 recently had to have extensive repairs performed due to significant damages caused by packrats. Jared in the Service Department, along with Austin and so many others, went WAY above and beyond to make sure that I was cared for, and that my car was returned to the gold standard that Toyota is known for. My 3-year old truck had a seized fuel pump. Luckily, it happened after we PCS'd from Drum to here. Had it towed to Toyota and they got it back to me in 24 hours. We took in our Prius for oil change a few days later and found out it basically had no brakes and everything was warped with rust after 3 years in Northern NY. They did rotors, brake pads, full service and safety check in 5 hours. Pricing was what you'd expect for a dealership. Our cars are still under 5-years old so we only do dealer service to make sure we get OEM products and any warranties are honored. Fuel pump was under warranty! Service area was clean and well cared for, Mark was a mensch and Jerrod was funny. I took the truck in alone and Mark did not patronise me or talk down, which, sadly, still happens when you present femme.

Excellent experience at Sierra Toyota for service on my 2013 Venza!! They went above and beyond the required steps of the repair. My car had the damn VVTi actuator/exhaust cam gear noise. They didn't force me into allowing them to diagnose the vehicle, they just trusted me and we ordered the parts and scheduled the service.Service: Engine repair

Contacted Sierra Toyota after seeing their advertisement on Autotrader for a vehicle that had just been traded in. Submitted a request late in the evening and received an automated email from Ross. The following day Ross sent me a second email stating that Ryn would be taking on the sale. Ryn emailed me a few hours later with more information on the car. I called him later that day and he answered all my questions and concerns, especially since I was an out of state buyer. He told me the car would be inspected and I requested that he call be back once the results came in. A few days later Ryn called back and confirmed my observations about bumper damage on the vehicle. He didn't recommend that I purchase it, due to this and several other factors.Throughout our email and phone exchanges, Sierra Toyota demonstrated the utmost integrity and concern for my buying experience. The only other seller I have had such great experience with was with Herman Cook Volkswagen in Encinitas CA. Both of these companies offer no haggle pricing. It is clear they try to find the best used cars and where vehicles do not meet inspection, they sell via auction. By offering high quality cars and high integrity, they will develop repeat customers along with the occasional out of state buyer like myself. If anything similar pops up I hope they will give me a call.

My experience at your service department was excellent. Mark was very helpful in explaining what was wrong with my car. I had two test drives with the service manager, one after the car still made a noise and the second when the car was fixed. I have always had the best service at Sierra Toyota. Thank you.
