Back in December my fiance and I were kicked off the property for saying, "Jesus is the reason for the season" by one The Assistant Manager. At which time we were employees with the Salvation Army when we were 'ringing the bell' for the red kettle to raise money for donations for the Salvation Army. This is discrimination at its finest. The Salvation army's claim is they were an extension to your store so while the Salvation Army is being investigated by the Attorney Generals Office. Don't be surprised if they pull you in also.

I placed my first pick up order at this location. Gina went above and beyond to make sure my experience was awesome. She called me before picking my order to let me know that most of the organic produce I ordered was out of stock. She let me know that the truck was coming later that day so I could cancel my order and reorder for a later time. I followed her advice and was able to get almost all my organic produce when I placed my later order. I appreciated this very much so I didn’t end up with a bunch of subs that I didn’t want. We full time RV and were traveling through. I will not hesitate to order here again if we are in the area! Thanks again Gina!

It seems like a pretty nice store. First time here, and there were aspects of it that I liked. Some stuff could've been stocked better. A few things were out. Also, some of the for U coupons I clipped and the Starbucks coffee I got didn't ring up at the sale price or take it off the total like it was supposed to. I liked how big their flower selection was, even though the flowers my husband brought me started dying the next day. I also like that they have a salad bar area. Some of the produce could have been better quality. Their prices are pretty high too. I'll be back again to look around some more.

While I typically prefer Safeway for its superior product selection compared to other stores, I've noticed that their pickup service consistently provides me with their worse products. It's incredibly frustrating.

They are in the Bait and Switch business. They are VERY frequently out of AD items. Today is Friday and they advertised for Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday ONLY, the Lucerne dozen eggs 2/$5.00 and also strawberries 2/ $5.00. I was at the store at 9:00AM and they're out of these two sale items. Got plenty of eggs for $4.99 a dozen but none at the sale price. This happens weekly. As for the strawberries, there wasn't even a spot for them. Just none to be found. Don't even get me started on the advertised meat items. I won't buy anything but chicken at Safeway because all of their beef, particularly if it's on sale, is tough and grisly. Not to mention the sullen meat cutter by the name of Michael. I just call him 'Surly". I'm not sure what happened to Safeway. They used to have wonderful service and quality meat. Not anymore.

This is a great second choice for a grocery store in Sierra Vista. This is my second choice because I prefer Fry's. Fry's usually has better pricing but it is definitely more crowded. If I just want a quick visit and they have some good sale pricing I will shop here. The store is usually clean and in stock and the help is friendly. I visited the deli counter yesterday and the lady who worked there was so sweet and helpful! They only have about six registers for self checkout and Fry's has about 24. Big difference if this is something important to you!

i went to the seafood counter, the man working was so rude, the i bought tuna, one pound of ham and shrimp ceviche and salmon.everything but the salmon was rotten. we had to through 40.00 of food away! i wont buy from safeway again
