Helpful staff and very good cuts of steak. About average on most food prices, but sales and member discounts make Safeway worth shopping at regularly.

Good for what it is: an alternative to the principal grocery store in town. Safeway has a much better deli selection than the alternative, but in general the prices are a bit higher. Also there seems to be a regular problem with vagrants in the parking lot directly in front of the entrance.
