Horrible customer service. I had the app pulled up and they couldn't show me where the VIP card number to scan was. I live a hour away So if I forget my card it isnt feasible to go home. The self check out clerk said he "couldn't" help me even though I was logged in and clearly a member.

They don't have enough cashiers. I don't mind bagging my own groceries, which I have to do a lot here but....unless I have very few items I'm not going to use the self check-out.

I shop here pretty much only for the advertised specials, as regular prices are high on most items. That's the reason for the 2 stars, otherwise would be one. Since moving to SV about a year ago, have watched the lines getting longer and longer- what is up with not opening self checkouts?! Also whoever does the stock planning needs to improve their game- many sale items are often out of stock. Since I am currently unemployed, I've tried shopping here at a variety of days/times to try and avoid long lines or out of stock items, with limited success. Also have gotten "reviewed" multiple times for potential theft at the self checkout, because apparently I'm too fast for the machine- sorry! Don't appreciate getting treated like a criminal because I know how to use a scanner. Overall, I grit my teeth and bear it due to needing to buy items on sale.

Good store, we have Aldi's where I'm originally from and the prices are so much better, organic food and non-organic wish Fry's would lower their prices. I drive to Tuscon monthly, and that helps.

I have been shopping here for a few months now and so far, all the food I have bought has always been fresh without any issues.
The following cons only brought down their rating to 4 stars, but I feel they should be pointed out nevertheless:
- If you need to order anything at the deli counter, be prepared to wait a while
- As you wait for your turn at the deli, you will notice there are A LOT of flies behind the counter
- Parts of their parking lot will flood during heavy rainfall. If you selected a parking spot while it was nice and sunny out, then you could be trudging through almost ankle deep water if it had downpoured while you were shopping

July 2, ~ 6PM We went in for 5 quick items. HUGE lines at one open register. The self-service check out area had only half of them open. The line of waiting customers must have been at least 25 people.
What a train wreck of management!
