The Wilde does a lot within a small footprint, (lovely firepits) .. but can't change the fact that it's a former downscale hotel that mostly overlooks a Safeway. The restaurant is fancy diner food but nothing special. While we had a great stay, I wouldn't call it a luxury property.

My girlfriend and I were given a vacation package by her sister to Sedona for a week. Everything about this place was nothing short of amazing. The check in was smooth, our bell hop gave us a map and told us all the places to go hiking and when to go, the room was clean and modern. The fireplace was more than esthetic on the cold nights, it actually kept the room quite comfortable. There is so much to do within a few miles in each direction from atv rides to shopping. If you're looking for a place to go to fuel an outdoor getaway with a comfortable place to lay your head at night, than this is the place. The resteraunt has amazing food and good drinks but we noticed it can get packed after 7pm.Rooms: Modern with great viewsNearby activities: Atv toursJeep toursHorseback riding toursCountless hiking trailsHot air balloon toursNational parksDowntown shopping areaFood & drinks: Rascals is attached to the hotelAirport MesaThe choices are endless

The Wilde was SO nice. A real gem in Sedona. All of the staff were so accommodating and kind and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Special shout out to Lacey at the front desk for making us feel welcome from our first steps on property to our last. I was talking to her about how I was excited about Sedonas rock and Crystal shops when we were checking in and Lacey personally brought some crystals to our room to get my collection started. The spa was wonderful, my massuse Lisa was attentive and very communicative during my serivces. Probably one of my favorite spa experiences ive ever had honestly. Even if you dont make it to the spa the grounds of the wilde have several hot tubs to choose from as well as firepits and other relaxing lounge areas for when you are done adventuring in Sedona. I highly reccomend the Wilde for a little Desert luxury and relaxation.

Made an appointment for the spa. They then called several days later saying they suddenly had no room available and needed to cancel the appointment. Would not explain further. The other times offered did not work for me, hence the prior appointment time being made. Poor customer service.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sedona Rouge a couple of years ago, before it transformed into The Wilde Resort, and I must say, the experience was memorable. The rooms were impressively large and beautifully appointed, blending luxury with comfort in a way that made my stay exceptionally pleasant. The customer service was outstanding, with every staff member going out of their way to ensure my visit was nothing short of perfect. While the exterior architecture of the hotel might not catch your eye at first glance, seeming more like it was once an apartment or condo complex, the interior tells a different story. The accommodations and decor are tastefully done, showcasing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a welcoming and luxurious environment for guests. The transformation into The Wilde Resort & Spa, as I've read in a recent press release, only seems to enhance that commitment, promising an even more refined experience amidst the natural beauty of Sedona. With 105 contemporary guest rooms and suites, dramatic colors, rich fabrics, and sensual motifs that complement Sedona's stunning landscape, this is a property that will make you feel at home. I read that they added a modern culinary concept called "Rascal," helmed by James Beard Award winner Chef Mercer Mohr, which I hope to try the next time I am in Sedona. This resort also has outdoor soaking tubs, nicely landscaped seating, and an array of on-property activities like stargazing, yoga, and storytelling around fire pits to make for a truly immersive experience. The resort's proximity to trailheads and outdoor recreation opportunities ensures that whether you're looking for adrenaline-filled adventures or a serene retreat, this hotel would make a good base camp (located in West Sedona). In summary, my experience at the Sedona Rouge was fantastic, and from what I've learned about The Wilde Resort & Spa, it seems the essence of what made my stay great remains intact, if not improved. The exterior may be unassuming, but it's what's inside that counts.Rooms: Rooms are quite nice and very spacious, and I believe most have a patio or balcony.

Incredible resort with fantastic staff! We came for our 35th wedding anniversary, and they treated us like royalty. Incredible views of the surrounding red rock mountains. We received a small complimentary bottle of champagne and a personalized card from the wonderful staff (thanks, Cheyenne!). Great individual touches in the room such as vertical wall fireplace and LOTS of outlets (see pic) on the bedside stand.Walkability: Grocery store with Starbucks right across the street. Multiple restaurants within a couple of blocks.

Needed to cancel a week before my trip and the resort has been very difficult to get someone on the phone. I've been hung up on multiple times before getting connected/communicating with anyone. The cancellation policy says 48 hours, but they will absolutely NOT honor it.Get ready for a fight if you need to adjust your plans.

My fiancé and I visited Sedona to have a relaxing vacation and that's exactly what we found at The Wilde. While we only stayed two nights, we were able to enjoy our room as well as the restaurant, pool/hot tub area, and spa. The staff was excellent and one small feature I loved was the water bottle fill-up stations throughout the resort. Next time we will definitely plan on staying longer and exploring more of the resort and activities they have scheduled that we didn't have time to do on this trip!
