Let me start off by saying the staff was very helpful and friendly. They did have a kiosk check in which was not the greatest.Room was very nice but a little bit dated and there were issues with the key working and the fireplace ? stayed on after the timer went off.Overall I give it a 7.9 out of 10 but I’ll round up to a four out of five stars. Sedona Real Inn across the street better for around the same price point but was not a bad stay.

Perfectly located on the main strip and Sedona. Beautiful view of the rim of the canyon. The room was very cozy. Check in and check out with unusual as it was all done through AI, but the people that did actually work there were very helpful.

It's not fancy, but it's a comfortable place.

Great hotel at a great price… It was quiet and comfortable. And the water was always hot… loved this place.

The jetted tub and fireplace are nice. There was always hot water. Our stay was pretty quiet. The rooms are a little run down, cracks on the wall, light next to the bed was broken and hanging from the wall, stained towels so therefore I’m not sure it was worth the $200/night for the king room with tub during the off season. However, the service was nice and the breakfast was decent. Good location, didn’t get a chance to use the heated tub or hottub.

It’s a small, neat and a cozy space. Perfect for Sedona while you are in your exploration mode.

Loved my stay here! The room was very clean and i enjoyed the southwest decor- earth tone walls, cool light-up art headboard, fireplace, and outdoor table and chairs. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.Disappointed in the breakfast offerings - nothing for healthy vegans. Also the body wash/shampoo/conditioner is milk based, so if you’re vegan just bring your own. Good location near restaurants and shops in West Sedona. Beautiful views right outside the window! It was right on the main road and and there was parking close to the room. There were a couple of grassy areas nearby for my dog, (none on the property), and in general it’s hard to find in Sedona.

This was a wonderful room, comfy beds, good breakfast. We slept great on their Denver Mattress Company beds. The location was perfect for our needs.Wish the fireplace had worked, but the heat did the trick.

The worst experience..my family and I enjoyed Sedona but the 2 nights in this hotel?? Night 1 we had get our keys rekeyed..2nd night not able to get in our room..twice before I demanded maintenance to let us in..breakfast is plastic wrapped..I definitely would not stay there..then the regional manager pops off on vacation until next month..too much money and not I'd give credibility to..

Room was decent especially for the price. Nice 2nd floor balcony view, comfy bed, refrigerator in the room, and wall unit AC like most hotels. The AC seems old as it struggled to maintain a good temperature even though outside temps were in the low 80's.Location is good especially if you want to drive to Devil's Bridge Trailhead (side note: we discovered that only 4x4 vehicles are able to drive all the way to the trailhead in spite of what maps apps tell you. You can park at the Dry Creek trailhead and hike the 4x4 road 20-30 minutes to the DB Trailhead, or hike the more scenic Chuck Wagon Trail which takes approx 2 hours depending on your pace. Another option we didn't know until later is the Mescal Trail, which is shorter to Devil's Bridge TH but a hike both directions.)The inn is located on the west end of 89A but still very reasonable access to downtown Sedona, shopping, and restaurants. One important note about location is that it is right on the main road and there were loud trucks that could be heard even with external doors and windows closed.Service is why we rate our stay with 2 stars. We arrived after 9pm and were greeted by a kiosk, which frankly startled me. The person on the other end of the kiosk was pleasant and helpful but only one room keycard worked even though I went back 3 times, 4 "extra" keycards total. The female proprietor in the office the next day generated a new card while she was on the phone and didn't even attempt to acknowledge me other than to hand the new card to me and the turned and went back in the office.Doubts about her curtness and lack of hospitality were eliminated at breakfast the next morning. Asking about the status of the coffee evoked a response that bordered rude, and since running an inn is considered hospitality, her response was not appreciated, and I told her so. A fellow patron at breakfast who overheard everything agreed with me.And the final act of rudeness is that at checkout, I went into the office and she got up from her seat and walked behind a "Employees Only" door and closed it behind her. So I left and finished loading our car and came back, at which time she did exactly the same thing! This time I called out "excuse me", and she came out of hiding, but with a scowl and not a smile. Here is the review I promised her I would leave. There are too many choices for accommodations in Sedona to tolerate her lack of hospitality. To be fair, the service was there... but it definitely wasn't pleasant.Update 9/18Canned reply of "will address it with staff" is just that: a canned reply. You, the proprietor, are "the staff". I'm well traveled and VERY reasonable. I do not expect perfect service and I'm extremely patient when issues arise. However, I absolutely expect "hospitality", aka service with a smile, pleasantness, courtesy. Asking if there is more coffee does not deserve a curt response and when I called you out on it, "staff" was "addressed", but you chose to continue being curt and even avoid me, your guest, when I entered the office. Your kiosk had more hospitality than you demonstrated.

This place super dated super overpriced especially for the quality room that you get. Management has a great way to put on the front of catering to their guests however does not necessarily treat staff with the same type of graciousness or kindness. I typically support businesses that support their crew so on that aspect I suggest finding somewhere else cuz you will definitely get a better stay and better bang for your buck.

Positive: The location is quite so A+, perfectly working AC and loved the chimney. Beautiful theme in rooms. Has a small fridge so A+ to that. Bathroom and room were clean.Negative: Room needs a microwave, needs a better comfortable mattress, needs better pillows. Swimming pool and the surrounding needs to be clean often (chairs had spider webs under it), breakfast needs to be restock everyday (I found one muffin with mold on the top), the breakfast balcony also needs to be clean.

Loved this place. From checking in with Jessica to room. Looking for a place that allowed pets and I needed a balcony and a fireplace! Price included free breakfast. Escaped heat of Phx and we are sitting here with windows open! Beautiful views and close to everything!
