This was a very substandard hotel. The room was very dark with no natural light, the shower didn't drain, the carpet was so threadbare as to be concrete, and there was a general dampness about the room. I can't believe the rate I paid to stay here. We would have moved as soon as we saw the room were it not such a busy season.

Ultimately our experience here was just disappointing and, for the price we paid (through their website, it was nearly $500/night), we expected a lot more.Lets start with the good: the location is great, the staff was friendly in our experience, and the restaurant has some excellent food.Unfortunately, our good experience stopped there. The rooms are incredibly dated, smelled a little funny, and unfilled screw holes littered various areas on the walls. Gym and pool area are the same and just didn't seem well taken care of. Walking into our first room, my pregnant wife legitimately started crying wondering why we spent so much money on this hotel. Whatever, we shrugged it off, assumed we wouldn't spend very much time in the rooms, and moved on. Maybe 2 hours after unpacking all of our stuff, someone in the room above us turned on the shower and water began pouring out of the light fixture onto our clothes and other stuff. We called the front desk and they gave us a new room, but honestly didn't give much in the way of an apology for the inconvenience. No compensation offered, no discount at the restaurant, barely an "I'm sorry for the issues".There were other issues as well that aren't really worth rambling about here (e.g., our neighbors in the new room deciding to bounce a basketball around their rooms at 7am our first morning) but long story short, I can't recommend this property for the high price they are charging, other hotels in the area are likely a better deal.

Dont bother. Paid a good chunk of money for the motel experience. No turndown service, you have to personally request your room to get cleaned, else they just drop towels and leave. The rooms are nothing better than a roadside motel, staff are less than helpful, did i mention there is no turn down service, at a "resort".Youd be better off staying in an air BNB, you still wont have turn down service but at least you wont be staying in a dingy, musty room.Rooms: Motel quality without a cleaning serviceNoteworthy details: Lack of staff service

Attended conference. Really clean and updated. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had breakfast buffet before conference and area for buffet line was pretty cramped.

We had a great time at Poco Diablo. The room was so cozy with a fire place and a balcony looking out to the mountains (Poco King Room highly recommended at the small extra $20 charge). There was so much natural light which made it so beautiful in the morning. On top of that, although a very eclectic menu, the on-hotel grounds restaurant ended up being very delicious - we got the mashed potatoes (to die for), short ribs, and the artichoke flat bread. If you want to stay there the whole time and you are a picky eater, the restaurant doesn't have a single chicken dish so be prepared to go off grounds (not a very walkable area). The outdoors is beautiful and worth just walking around the grounds. Also about 20 minutes away is Dow Mountain trails which are so much fun. 10/10 stay if you want to enjoy being outside, a cozy feel, and beautiful mornings.Rooms: Beautiful rooms - would definitely recommend the Poco King Room!

We decided on a last minute stay late last week in Sedona for one night and found this spot on Bring Fido as we were traveling with our dog. Didn't know what to expect as online reviews were very mixed. Either one loved their stay or not. But at $215/night all in, I set expectations accordingly.I will say if one is looking for a high end resort then you'll be disappointed. If you're used to Best Western/Holiday Inn or similar standard then you'll feel upgraded.Yes resort feels a bit old and outdated but room was very clean and spacious and had all the usual amenities and king size bed was very comfortable. We had a room in the 400-500 area but facing the inner courtyard as opposed to parking lot. If we had a room that faced parking lot probably would have been less than impressed. But for $215 in Sedona ended up being a very solid one night stay.Front counter staff were very pleasant helpful and check in and out was a breeze. The remodel of that area was nice.Resort very dog friendly and had plenty of open space for the pup to exercise (the former golf course).A solid 4 stars all around for us. The low ratings I think are people who think they are checking in to a $400-500/night high end resort. It's definitely not that. But it certainly isn't a 1 or 2 star stay either.

My stay was fine. This review is regarding my phone call to reservations about additional pending charges to my card. After being charged the correct amount for my stay and meal in the restaurant, several days later, hundreds of dollars worth of charges are still pending on my card. The only "help" I received was being told the pending charges would remain for 10 days and that I agreed to that when I signed at check in. When I said 10 days was not acceptable and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on. For this reason alone I would not recommend this resort. Someone needs to clue reservations in that they are part of the HOSPITALITY industry, which does not include hanging up on your customers.Response to Your Reply:Yes I was told a $50 hold, this is for hundreds of dollars, and the full amount of the transaction already went through. And this by no means excuses the behavior of your employees

Everything is beautiful! The views are breathtaking without anything hindering our view. Rooms are lovely especially with the fireplace a jacuzzi bath. Willows was a delightful dinner experience - Mario was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The resort is in a wonderful location - away from the crowds, but easy to get to restaurants, nature and shops.

Amazing views of the red rocks. Great service from the front desk staff. The on-site restaurant was excellent in food and wine pairings.

Was there for the Sedona Film Fest and found this place amazing. Just enough out of the busy areas but not too far. Easy to get to hiking trails and town. PLUS, they have Pickleball! Place was clean, no bugs (as per other reviews) and the staff was very friendly and always willing to help. ESPECIALLY the night front desk guy. Wildlife came right up to my doors, never heard anyone from other rooms. Actually thinking of going back for my long overdue honeymoon. The restaurant btw was great! I went once and they always remembered my food allergies. Good variety at reasonable prices.

The "Resort" is nothing more tha a motel. The rooms are outdate with incredibly old carpets, torn wallpaper in the bathroom, and toilets that need to be continualflushed just to clear urine. Unfortunately, the rooms might have been the best part of the motel. The staff is unhelpful and even condescending. When I asked a simple question like, do you have coffee service in the morning? I was told "no" and the front desk person walked away. walkers to the restaurant and bought a $6 cup of cold coffee from the restaurant. We went a chain hotel that cost less, offered a complimentary breakfast and had a health club that had new, clean equipment.Rooms: Outdated and in need of a lot of work.

The most you'll pay for an airport Motel- the pictures made us feel the definition of a scam. Thought we were coming someplace romantic for our 10 year anniversary but we might as well have paid for a Motel 6. Just look at the pictures they SHOULD include online.Rooms: More for family or while waiting for a flight than a romantic getawayWalkability: None, you'll have to drive, even to hikeNoteworthy details: Run, don't get scammed like us
