Did a great job, great communication, and so far my jeep drives better than ever! Honest, they made a quote but ended up coming in 20% less cost because parts were less and one of the issues was due to just a bolt not being tight enough. Got the same diagnosis from another shop but glad I went here as I felt they had more integrity. Very transparent with their billing and with explaining the work, and they gave me several updates throughout the process. A+++

I've been meaning to write this review for a while! My car battery died on our way to Sedona in April, and our experience with this shop was amazing. They were able to look at my car right away, and we were ready to go with a new battery in about an hour. The pricing is reasonable, staff is super kind and helpful, and they even mailed us a personalized thank you card after our visit. We were surprised and grateful with how smooth and pleasant the experience was. Honestly the best service from a garage I've received. Thank you Canyon Automotive!

We had a great experience with the team here. Although our Bronco ended up needing extensive (warrantied) repairs, the techs were so thorough and you can tell they truly take pride in their business. We appreciate the help, especially at 5:30pm the Friday of memorial day weekend!!

From the minute Sara picked up, I knew I was in good hands…many times the people picking up phone & taking notes aren’t car-knowledgeable like the mechanic, but as I was telling her VVT/Cylinder-misfire/VSC sensor issues, I could tell she was following along & understanding. When I got the car dropped off I didn’t even need to retell the notes cuz they were already written down on my file.
I was in the midst of a RoadTrip, & the repair shop understood I was in a hurry to get a repair before leaving in a few days, so they actually started looking at my car that afternoon when I was dropping it off.
They were able to diagnose, source the part, complete the repair from Tuesday Afternoon drop off by Friday.
Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely trying to help their customers. Cannot recommend this shop enough, was one of the best ASAP repair instances I’ve ever dealt with (and my 1999 LS400 has seen more than a few shops over the years…a great V8 but “when there’s a problem there’s a problem…& this was DEFINITELY a problem” as the cylinders-misfiring were causing the car to spaz/lurch & I was worried about it transferring to the transmission as the VSC had already refused to cooperate with the irregular power-delivery).
Very reasonably priced for such an expensive little resort town, & with a better helpful attitude than most car repair shops. This is a quality establishment worth every dime.
THANKS TEAM YOU ROCK LIKE THE MOUNTAINS. Will be a highlight “crisis averted” memory of my roadtrip that otherwise could have thrown a “wrench in the gears” of my entire plan/schedule to head out. My baby was in good hands, trust them with ur baby too. ??

My 05 Avalanche began to overheat on Stoneman Lake road during an elk hunt in early December 2023. I looked up local mechanics and based on good reviews I chose Canyon. Everything was great until I got my vehicle back to Phoenix and discovered some of the info given me by Marsha and Sara was conflicting/incorrect. People make mistakes. I specifically asked for Dex-Cool, the proprietary coolant used for my vehicle, stated in my owners manual. When I spoke to Sara prior to picking up the vehicle, she said "We put 2 new hoses and clamps in and the proper cooolant". When I got home I looked under the vehicle and did not see 2 new hoses or new clamps and the fluid in my resevoir was greenish-most likely due to me purchasing 3 gallons of $10/gallon Prestone "universal" coolant at the Flagstaff Walmart in a troubleshoot attempt to get back to Phoenix and also because they put some universal shop brand coolant that they said is gold. Anyone who knows vehicles knows all these vehicle makes call for their own coolants and they all have different colors. I expected the fluid to be the Dex-Cool orange I called for, however, after I paid and asked for Dex-Cool, which, they should have known to use without me asking. In a first attempt for clarity, I asked Marsha for an explanation of work/materials to which she responded "we put 1 clamp on, no new hoses, and used a fluid compatible with Dex-Cool." They charged me $14.44/gallon, $21.86 for 1.5 gallons of fluid and $17.50 for 2 clamps. Obviously my confusion began to grow. After finally getting full clarity, I now have to pay to have this fluid flushed and refilled with the proper coolant and was told they put 2 clamps on and no new hoses. This is a decent company with a timely turnaround, good response times and decent service. Marsha seems a bit focused on being right and creating a "gotcha" moment than actually understanding and lending apology and solution. Sara is new and simply made a communication gaff. Decent shop, decent people, quick turnaround on work. In a jam up north and theyre the only ones around? Go with them, just make sure you are absolutely clear and check your vehicle before you leave. Marsha is ok, but she seems to like to be right rather than seeks to understand. Sara apologized for confusion and is good in my book. I have all text messages and invoice in case anyone refutes this in any way.

We were in Sedona after the death of a loved one, trying to show AZ to our fam from out of state and wouldn't you know, our car broke down in the parking lot across the street from the garage. The gentleman at O'Reilly's recommended we push our car to Canyon Automotive and honestly, it was a great choice.The staff were super sweet when we checked in and were able to check out our car faster than expected. They provided us a timeline, and we were able to bop around Sedona and pick up our car within a few hours.Pricing was reasonable, the staff was knowledable and so kind! We dropped our car off at 1p and were on the road able to watch the sunset.Best part is a few days later we got a hand written note in the mail thanking us for our business. How cute is that! Grateful Canyon Automotive was there to save the day.
