Our daughter & friends had an awful experience with this business. The girls had gone to Slide Rock Park and when they got there the car key would not release from the ignition. After googling car repair places "nearby" we (her parents in another state) recommended they drive to Anderson Auto & Truck Repair in Sedona due to all the "good" reviews posted. They drove 40 minutes to get there from the park! From the beginning of getting there, the employees (maybe one was an owner, we don't know) acted like it was an inconvenience for them to stop by and request service! Though the mechanic was able to eventually get the key out (charged $100,) both of the guys who dealt with her were not very pleasant. The mechanic barely spoke with her and the man who handled the payment was pointedly rude, repeatedly making belittling remarks to our daughter, so much so that she was in tears!!! He also gave her some speech about the fact that they are located where they were so that people like "them," the girls, wouldn't find them & bother them!! We do not recommend going there!!! So much for kindly helping out some worried young girls. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Anderson Auto has been my mechanic now for 34 years, that’s a lot trucks, cars and haulers. Quality work, very trustworthy, I have nothing to complain about. The family has been doing this for generations.

I don't think Mr. Anderson takes the time to ever check google reviews. He runs an old school shop that is a far cry away from the coffee bars at some service centers. When we were in the area from out of town and our coolant system failed leaving me and my 2 kids stranded, he was willing to take a look at our car and get us back on our way - a HUGE answer to prayer! So glad we found this gem!

This is your place! Coming across the desert my ac went out, yes on a friday..got there at 10 am and they worked all day Friday Saturday and sunday to get me back on the road.Now saying that you should see my truck he put it back together better than it was before, cleaned everything, very very meticulous.Add in the fact that the office manager is one of the nicest easy going people I have ever spoke with. Sitting there for hours we had some really great conversations.I fell like on my way back I need to see them again..lets hope its for dinner,,,not work

We were in Sedona for vacation when our dash just lit up with all kinds of warning lights. We just had the vehicle serviced before the trip and it hasn’t been giving us problems until that day. The other shops we found could not take a look at our vehicle for 2 days, which is when we were scheduled to leave. Warren and Mike kindly squeezed us in and checked what was going on. They were able to give us a quick assessment and did an emergency repair that would get us home (1,100 mi). They also told us about a couple of items that needed attention and got us in our way in just about an hour. Because of them, we were able to continue our vacation and get home safely.
